The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

All units at Pelican Isle

  We have been visiting Okaloosa Island for several years now, we have even stayed at Pelican Isle on a different vacation. However, this was honestly one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. It looked exactly like the pictures but also, the set up was awesome and made it feel a bit bigger. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that there was no assigned parking in the garage for this particular condo... but I can’t really complain about that because we never had issues with parking. Easy check in/out, clean, great views, just overall great choice for our family vacation this year.

  This condo was all we could have asked for and even more! Pelican Isle is by far the best kept and quietest condominium we have ever stayed at.The beautifully kept property and the beach chair service were amazkng. The condo itself was beautifully decorated and spotless when we arrived. We loved the way that 611 was decorated and not beach themed (crazy I know!). The condo it's self gave us plenty of room to spread out, the 6 story view was amazing and the condo was fully stocked with everything we could have needed. We typically pick a new place to stay everytime we take vacation but I think we may have found out spot for all future vacations at Pelican Isle 611.

  This place was perfect! There were so many places to choose from In the area. This was our first time in this area and my first time using VRBO. What a simple, perfect process! The condo was fully stocked with everything we could need. It was clean, comfy, quiet, and best of all an elevator ride down to the heated pool, hot tub, and OCEAN! It was perfect. We came over Christmas weekend so there was not a lot staff onsite, but we were told they were a phone call away. We did interact with a maintenance man down by the pool.(I wish I got his name) .. we bumped into him twice and he was super helpful. One of my favorite things was a “guestbook” that was left out in the kitchen signed by previous guests with recommendations for things to do in the area. What a great idea! We will definitely be back!

  First off the staff was so nice and very helpful. It was very easy to get in and out of the condo. The view is amazing!!! As a first timer I would say I had a pretty good experience. The building it’s self could use some cleaning like the hallways and the elevator. One thing did kinda scare us... the front door looked like it had been broken into before.

  Our stay was much needed, was wonderful and was such a blessing!! We have been staying here for years, and absolutely love it! The ladies in the office are always so delightful and do all they can to meet our needs...and they did meet our needs! My husband is on the liver transplant list and is very sick, and we needed to get into our room after arriving earlier than we anticipated. At first we couldn't, then shortly after I received a call saying our room was ready. So I would like to thank the wonderful people in housekeeping as well!!   This place was awesome. We loved the view from the balcony! The rooms were very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well stocked. It rained a few morning when we were there and were excited to see that the chest in the living room opened up and had puzzles and coloring for the kids to do. This location was great too. It is close to Destin but not so close to the tourism.

  This condo was nice and had nice furnishings. The view was gorgeous and the Master bedroom was HUGE! Living room felt a little crowded with a full size table and the living room TV was pretty small. Second bedroom was a good size and decorated great but the mattress wasnt the best as you could feel the springs in it. The bunk beds were a nice addition but no railings meant our children couldn't sleep on them. Kitchen had everything we needed. The management company was great to work with. It was easy from start to finish. Pelican isle was nice but the beach setup was super crowded! One of the most crowded on the beach. The guests would get to the beach before the attendants started putting out chairs so they could drape towels on the chairs upfront so no front chairs were ever available. They also put the chairs way too close to each other. The pool is really small and way too crowded too. We ended up buying chairs and going to the public beach access just so we could enjoy the beach.

  Been vacationing on Okaloosa Island for several years. First time using Pelican Isle. Lots of water toys provided for all ages.
  Condo 611 is very beautifully upscale. Never expected that much crown molding. Not as well stocked as Gulf Dunes: 1 laundry detergent, no dish soap.
  Needed a good surface dusting on most surfaces: lamps, pictures, decorations, etc. All appliances in good shape.

  We had a very good experience at Pelican Isle #611. The condo is nicely decorated. Front desk assistants were friendly and helpful. The only thing we were disappointed with is the long rectangular, narrow shape and depth of the pool which didn't really allow for much play and swimming.

The one and only negative was lingering elevator issues while we were there, but nothing too bad...of course we weren't the ones who got stuck in the elevator either so that could have changed things for sure ;)

  The rooms were pretty, well maintained and very clean. All the management was very helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The Pelican Isle is close to everything including Destin. We didn't have one bad meal in all the restaurants we ate at but my favorite was La Famiglia in Destin. Best Italian food since I left Europe. We plan to stay at the same place in a couple years.

    Oh we just LOVE this top floor two bedroom colorful and fun condo at the Pelican Isle. The property itself really is convenient but being down towards the end of Okaloosa Island you're really close to the military owned beach where there are no condos so you really get some extra privacy and rest time when staying here. We do have lots of delicious spots to eat around here, all from seafood to burgers anything you could be craving is close! How awesome to hear some even stood up to the European version!!! As you booked through Brooks and Shorey Resorts, we have a discount that we offer return guests so please when you are planning your next trip down to the Emerald Coast, call us directly so we can make sure to you get that discount!! We couldn't be more grateful to you for staying with us first and second for your amazing feedback-THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Please come back soon-maybe within the next year rather than a few years! :)

  The condo had a wonderful layout and view!! The decor was nice and the beds were so comfy!
  
  The pool kept getting closed which was annoying. One elevator didn't work so it took a while to get on.
  
  Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend this unit and this property.

    Pelican Isle 611 is a WONDERFUL two bedroom top floor condo and we are thrilled you enjoyed the condo itself. We are so apologetic for the elevator being down on property, this is truly out of our control and really out of the control of anyone. Maintenance issues are always inconvenient and especially with it being peak season, but once again we sincerely have no say-so over this, and this was an extenuating circumstance which requires hand-made custom parts, and absolutely no way to put a rush on it. We thank you so much for the patience and cooperation on this, and we look forward to having you back to the Pelican Isle and hopefully again in beautiful unit 611!!

  We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Isle! The condo was roomy, clean and had a wonderful view. Our girls loved the bunks! The staff at Brooks and Shorey were very helpful when I had to call mid-stay. We would definitely stay in 611 again;we loved the colorful decor!

    YES!!! Your feedback is perfectly truthful to this condo, this gorgeous top floor two bedroom at the Pelican Isle...you don't get better in my view- I LOVE this condo. The colors and the decor truly keep the coastal feeling throughout so you EXPERIENCE the coast 24/7 -this is how everyone should vacation! It's a lovely condo, updated in all the right ways yet family oriented into the ideal fam retreat spot.
