  My family and I had a great time staying in this condo. We didn't have any problems. When we arrived we noticed one of the toilets leaking and I submitted a work order. Within a few minutes, the property gave me a call. I couldn't ask for a faster response. Overall, the condo was excellent. I would give give it a 5 out of 5 rating. The only thing I would suggest if I had to pick something to address would be to repair the popcorn ceiling in the hallway and to give the condo an overall deep cleaning. We will definitely be back next year!

  Our stay was very nice. The only issue was the front door could be cleaned. This is the first impression on the condo and what to expect. The condo was clean on the inside and ready early. There is a big difference in the heat/air in the condo. Of course, it was warmer in the condo on the Gulf side. The outside temp was low 70's. Suggestion: replace the lounge chair to two more seats on the balcony.

  Nice condo with very nice view of ocean, especially from the master bedroom. The condo is very nice, clean, well maintained. The third bedroom was great so each of our kids could have their own room and privacy. Three bathrooms is also very nice and we found necessary which I’ll explain below.
  
  A little feedback on the beds. They were very uncomfortable in all rooms. I’d recommend getting better mattress tops or something to make them softer. We didn’t sleep well most nights.
  
  One thing my wife and I weren’t crazy about was the master bathroom did not have a door (by design no hinges or anything even). Neither of us are fond of having to close and lock the master bedroom door to do our business while the other is just around the corner. We would have preferred a door to be there. We ended up using one of the other bathrooms that had a door.
  
  Overall, we love the sliding doors and listening to the ocean while we sat and read or watched tv or just relaxed. Beach location is ideal. The condo is off the main drag which can be quite busy at times especially on saturdays when everyone is coming in. We always had beach chairs provided by the condo if we wanted to use them. We would go back, as long as the beds had a little better feel to them next time. You may prefer the beds if you like a stiff mattress though.

  The unit was comfortable for our family of 4 with both kids having their own bedroom and attached bathroom. The master bathroom was inside the master bedroom, but the bedroom wasn't separated from the bathroom by a door, which was odd and inconvenient. Everything in the unit was in working order. The location was good and beach service was OK. They didn't put up umbrellas the second day we were there, probably because of the pending hurricane.
  
  Our trip was shortened by Hurricane Michael as we were forced to evacuate on Tuesday of our Saturday-Saturday rental. We received communication from the rental company on Monday afternoon that we had to be out by Tuesday at 10 AM. We never received communication after the evacuation that the unit was safe to return to, which I assume that it was.

  There is nothing like staying in a beachfront Condo. Waking up and sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves hit the shore is one of the most relaxing sounds you can hear. The beauty of the ocean is so relaxing. There is nothing better than the two when you need a break and need a stress reliever. Not to mention that this was a family trip and the total of 12 of us. We were all able to stay in the same complex. We hung out on the beach. We got together for dinner. Our umbrella guy was kind and professional. Everyone in our group had a good time. We were able to get into the unit early and were very greatful for the early access!! :-) The unit was cleaned very well. We only have a couple of comments regarding improvements. The door handle fell off but we managed without the handle and told them it could wait until after our visit. The balcony furniture was to big for the space and not very comfortable - but this did not stop us from enjoying the view. The kitchen chairs and some of the area rugs appeared to be very worn. Overall it was a nice unit and we had a great vacation.

  Wonderful experience! The property management company worked with is to adjust our stay due to a tropical storm. Our condo was clean and had all of the amenities we expected.   We enjoyed our stay at ETW 3002. The condo was clean, furniture comfortable and accomodating. The one thing that will keep us from coming back is the lack of a door in the master bathroom. My husband absolutely hated that. Seems as though they could've at least put a pocket door there. The ice maker was not working and I reported it, they came to fix it but needed a part. By the time that was fixed we were 3/4 through our stay. The queen bedroom shower head had issues and they came within 24 hours to replace it. Kudos to B & S for getting that done. Issues with the bath tub drains not draining fast enough. The beach views were amazing. Overall, the condo was clean and comfortable and any issues we had were addressed. As far as the property, the elevator smelled like urine, and that was a constant. ETW needs major updating.

The Homeowner's Association of ETW did some major property updates last year and the building does look better. We're glad to have some comments from the unit itself, we'll have our general manager inspect this unit and each issue mentioned. Tub and sink drains are a constant upkeep, the sand here is endless..afterall, it's paradise on the Gulf Coast. The beach views are truly breathtaking from ETW and balcony time is peaceful without the noises from the pool being below.   This condo fit our family of 5 perfectly. Our three teens had plenty of room, and we loved the view from the master bedroom. Staying on the beach was wonderful. Plenty of restaurant choices just a quick drive away for the days we didn't want to use the kitchen. We would definitely return to this condo on beautiful Okaloosa Island.

  It was great to work with Brooks & Shorey Resorts. The ladies I spoke with were pleasant and knowledgeable about their properties. We arrived a couple of hours early to our destination, so we drove by to check the condo location. As we were leaving the parking lot we got a call from Brooks & Shorey telling us our condo was clean and we could go in early. What a pleasant surprise! The condo was roomy and nicely decorated. It was fully stocked and had plenty of linens and even some beach toys. The view of the ocean was spectacular. The building was quiet and we felt safe. It is definitely somewhere I would go again, and I may since Brooks & Shorey offers a discount for your next stay. Thank you!

  This is our second time to stay in a condo through Brooks and Shorey Resorts. We will certainly be back to stay in one of your many selections of condos!!!
  We noticed a couple of things that were missing from this past unit. There was no hot mats; to take things out of the oven, there was only one towell/wash cloth for the kitchen, and no 8x8 or 9x13 baking pans. Also the dryer looks to be a fire hazard. (It needs to be pulled out and cleaned!!) If cleaned, it may start working better.

  We have been doing business with Brooks and Shorey for well over 30 years. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We have stayed at several of their properties starting out at the "original" Islander and have enjoyed them all. We especially like Emerald Tower West now. The location on Santa Rosa Island is where we enjoy the beach the most. At this location you can take long strolls on the beach in either direction. The rooms are always clean and well equipped. Fort Walton and Brooks and Shorey make a great combination.

  We had a wonderful vacation. Relatives from Florida and Louisiana attempt to meet once a year in the area. I celebrated my 50th birthday this year and had a surprise party in my honor. Also, my son and his girlfriend became engaged on the beach our first night at the condo. Wedding is next year.   The updates were nice in this unit. The glassdoors on the showers were a bit difficult to close, but I think they could work with some slight adjustments. The way this unit was laid out was great for my family. The front bedroom allowed our teen son to close himself off for more privacy. The pool for the unit was the only disappointment. A bit small and needs to have some shade added. Our unit was very clean and quiet. Really, no complaints. Will definitely visit this unit again.

  The floor was dirty, sand everywhere, dust bunnies. I had to vacuum the entire condo. Also the dirty dustpan was on a self in the pantry where I would have put our food but didn't after seeing that. The worst thing was the smoke alarm which went off THREE times the first night of our stay and ruined our night's sleep. We called management the next morning and they were going to send someone out to check the batteries but we never saw the maintenance person. Upon inspecting the alarms, they did NOT have battery backup and it was written on the alarm from the factory that they must be replaced by 2005!!! This is a MAJOR code violation and needs to be addressed. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the condo.
