  Parking lot is on a hill so it’s steep and pushing luggage/grocery carts can be annoying. There’s also no ramp to the beach, only steps. This makes it hard to pull a cart. Master bathroom door lock sucks and the washing machine is difficult to start.

  Yes, perfect location, nice unit! Having said that, there are thousands of these units and we've stayed at many. As plainly stated, there is no hairdryer or beach towels provided. Still we were amazed that there wasn't even a hint of salt/pepper/coffee/coffee filters, trash bags, baggies, spices, etc. Since we flew to Destin, we had to buy a cooler, beach towels, salt/pepper, baggies, trash bags, etc.
  A lot of choices out there and for $500 per night there are plenty of units that provide hair dryers, beach towels, and coolers. Had to figure out on our own that to wash the sand off you had to use a hidden garden hose outside the bldg. This wasn't stated anywhere I saw. So, we'll pick another place next time. Too much nickel and dime stuff here for an old building, hard bed, not enough pillows, and a terrible pool. And, despite tipping the umbrella guy $60, he never did reserve a setup for us the five days and three times I asked him to. Good guy, not on the ball. Would rather have a real service and would be happy to pay.

  This was our first time at Emerald Towers West, and we could not have been more pleased with this unit and our stay. It was very clean, and all the furniture and mattresses were in great condition. We loved the layout with the primary bedroom down a hall that gave more separation from the kitchen/living room. In addition, the oceanfront windows and balcony access from the primary bedroom were very nice. We initially thought it strange the pool for this building is in the parking lot, but by it not being between the building and ocean as is traditional, the rooms are that much closer to the beach which made a big difference. We were so impressed with this unit, building and property management group, it'll be our new home for future stays.

The only thing we would update is the balcony furniture, it wasn’t bad, just not completely comfortable for sitting king periods as we like to do and some of the chairs were coming undone but again, not a deal breaker or a big issue. The reservation process was perfect and so easy. Flawless!! Location of the condo was great! Close to everything but far enough that you weren’t crowded on the beach. We really appreciated the 2 chairs and umbrella each day that came with our stay. Very nice perk!

  The check-in process was a bit confusing based off e-mail instructions, but we figured it out without much trouble. The property is in an excellent location and was much more than I expected. Very nice, clean, and was more than fully furnished. Not only were there all the kitchen appliances and utensils we needed, but there was also a storage room with beach chairs, umbrellas, games, books, etc. The master bedroom view is AMAZING! Great access to the beach, and there is a shower and hose for washing off sand when coming off the beach. It was so nice to have free daily chair and umbrella rentals. The additional perks of renting here are incredible including dolphin cruises, snorkeling, movies, etc. We definitely plan to return to this property!

  Beautiful condo with ocean front views. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath was just beautiful. Full kitchen with all the amenities you need. Balcony from one of the bedrooms and living room. The condo was decorated very nice, ver calming and clean. Overall had a great experience there. Brooks and Shorey made the stay very easy and pleasant. I plan to go back again.

  We enjoy staying on Okaloosa Island when we visit Florida and have secured properties via Brooks and Shorey in the past. They are very professional resort managers and make every step of renting easy to understand and complete. Their customer service is excellent. Emerald Towers West is a great place to stay with plenty of room to spread out. The condo is as pictured and everything worked perfectly during our Sept 2018 vacation. The families who own the property provide some board games and beach items (ie: boogie boards, sandcastle building molds and inflatable flotation rafts/rings.) Nothing beats the view of the Gulf from the balcony - or the beach service that provides set up of 2 beach chairs and an umbrella! We can't wait to return!

  This unit had everything we needed and more. Kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals, including a crockpot. Very large washer/dryer. The open layout of kitchen with granite countertop and livingroom was perfect for entertaining and cooking our meals. Master bedroom is huge. Gets a little warmer than other rooms but loved being able to wake up to the beautiful ocean view. Carpet in bedrooms are in great condition not dirty or matted. The pictures are accurate. The building has an elevator and cart to help with luggage and groceries. The beach chair/umbrella setup was great perk. This unit has extra beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, rafts. We look forward to staying here again. The booking process to checking in /out is very easy with Brooks and Shorey.

We found property to be just as described in terms of layout, location and amenities. We found our condo to be very clean and well-maintained with a beautiful beach front view. The staff at Brooks and Shorey were very friendly and courteous and gave excellent information about locating and accessing our unit. Based on our experience, I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and relatives. Wes will definitely be returning for another visit. It was great to have the beach so close. We ate at several good restaurants (Floyd's Shrimp House, The Shrimp Basket and High Tide)all had excellent seafood.

  The rental experience was good excellent that upon picking up the key I was told then that we could not cook fish in the home and that was to be our Friday night dinner. So needless to say we had travel from GA with 15 pound of fish that we was going to travel back home with so it went to waste. That should be told up front, Something as important as that. The elevator smelled really bad mold and mildue and the halls smell of urine. The location and home was very nice.

  This unit is fantastic. Decorated in a clean, modern fashion. Thoughtfully laid out, with nice tvs in every room (great during an afternoon rain storm). Tile in the common areas made it feel clean and cool. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and serving. All the furniture is well cared for and looks good - feels like home! Best of all, it's near the stairs and elevator (but wasn't noisy) so access to the beach is very easy. Free beach chairs were a nice touch, made our trips to the beach that much easier. Check in off property is not my favorite, but it was close, so not that much of an issue.

  This is our 3rd visit to Emerald Towers West and our first staying in this two bedroom condo. The picture shown are right on target. This was a spacious condo for four adults. The two bathrooms provided were a plus. The balcony entrance off of the master was a plus. The bonus of this condo were the availability of the wave boards, board games, etc. There were tons of kitchen utensils we were able to utilize like the griddle for yummy pancakes and burgers. We also had use of an in-condo washer/dryer which we utilized to take home clean clothes vs. waiting until we got home to do laundry. Would definitely recommend this condo for couples.

The layout was a little different then the previous one we had and this one seemed larger. The furniture was nice. Beds and sofa's were comfortable and CLEAN.   We loved our stay! The condo was very comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean. And the views from the master bedroom and living room were fantastic! We enjoyed using the balcony as well, and it was a perfect location right on the beach. The only disturbances were the construction noises (drilling in particular) that were coming from a unit below us. We wish the restoration crew hadn't started their constant drilling and banging at 8 in the morning, but overall we had a very pleasant stay!

  Staying at ETW is always a pleasure. This unit appears to have been recently renovated and is very nice. The week before our stay, the panhandle had 20" of rain, which was pretty devastating, especially in Pensacola. At Okaloosa, the water was brown throughout our stay, but the sound of the waves still brought peace and relaxation. I'd recommend this unit!

  We really enjoyed ourselves but there were a few issues: the screen door kept coming off the track, the rack in the refrigerator was broken, the towel rack in the master bedroom kept falling down, and the back leg on the living room chair was loose. Once those are repaired the spot will be near perfect!

  This was our second time to stay in Unit 3006. We specifically asked for it because the first time was so enjoyable. The decor inside is beautiful and everything you need is provided. The view from the balcony is amazing. It sits right on the beach with no distracting pool between you and the ocean. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. We had a great time and will definitely be back again.

  Beautiful beach and condo was very nice. We would love to buy our own place. The only complaint we had was the noise above us @ 5:30 AM and people smoking on balconies to the point we had to go in and close the condo off from the smell. We will be back again!! Loved it!

  We stayed nine days at ETW 3006. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated with lovely furnishings. The beach was beautiful and the beach chair guys were very friendly and well mannered. The kitchen needed a pair of scissors and the sliding glass doors were hard to open/lock. Maintenance did respond immediately regarding that issue. We liked the quietness of Okaloosa Island and would come back.

  The condo was a rental for 6 people, but there were only 4 towels,2 in each bathroom. There were no cleaning products, so we had dishes that wouldnt fit in the dishwasher and we could not wash them. There was no cooking spray/oil and no salt and pepper. Overall the place was clean and comfortable. There was a little too much furniture on the patio and it was hard to move around out there. The location was great. If you want to reserve a beach umbrella and chairs, you must call the night before.(we didn't know that). The ice maker was turned off when we got there, it would have been nice to have ice.

    If it ever happens that you feel there are not enough towels in the condo, please call our front desk! We can have housekeeping deliver as many towels as you would like, you just have to let us know. Also as for the beach service - there is no phone number to call, no need for reservations at all. All of our guests receive 2 chairs and one umbrella daily and those are set up 9 AM - 5 PM. All you have to do is go to the beach, take seat and ENJOY!!!

  The condo owners' choice of furnishings made our stay very updated and nice and that is very important to us when we stay for that long. It was very homey and comfortable. The only thing I found was the kitchen could be stocked better. There was no wisk, pizza cutter, crock pot (an essential when on vacation), etc. Other than that, we found the condo to be one of the best we have stayed in.

  Restrooms by the pool area were dirty! Needed to be cleaned! Due to oil on beach we should have been reimbursed something, one night free stay, when asked at check out time, I was told I had to cancel and leave early to receive any money back. That would have been pretty pointless since we were on a family vacation with the rest of my family being in near by Destin. I feel like everyone should have been contacted immediately about the policy regarding the oil. It was not pleasant, but we did make the best of a bad situation!

  property clerk didn't have anyone to check condo after we left and said charges would be on my account if anything out of order. I didn't like that at all as the condo was clean when we left. Her attitude turned me off to wanting to return.
