This first floor unit is an incredible space that has tons of touches of home. Each room has its own coastal flair, including brightly colored tropical fish in the master bedroom/bath, lightly colored seashells in the guest bedroom/bath, and a palm tree mural in the dining area. This unit has an assigned covered parking space. With two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, this non-smoking unit can accommodate up to 7 guests. The wall mirror in the master bedroom helps fill the space with color. A full-size kitchen is complemented by a large island cabinet/countertop. A full-size washer and dryer set is also available in the unit. Three large windows and wall mirrors in the living room come together to surround the space with golden sunshine, white sands, and emerald-colored waters - three things that make the Emerald Coast so attractive! The balcony/patio outside extends from the living room to the master bedroom and gives guests plenty of space to enjoy a beach-front view from morning 'til night.

We were worried at first that the condo would be ready until 6 pm because of cleaning protocols, but we were called at 2:30 and said it was ready to go. Thanks B&S! The only problems we encountered were a low battery in smoke alarm at 1 in the morning and a broken table leg that we fixed.

  The layout of the condo was perfect for our family of 3. The beach access was amazing! We did have trouble getting into the condo. We were given a door code that did not work. We left a voicemail with the after hours emergency number. Our call was returned in a timely manner and we were able to get settled in.
  The condo was very clean, but had a musty smell. I am not sure if the dehumidifier was not working or if the carpet had gotten wet at some point.
  The checkout process was incredibly easy. The Alexa works great!

  It was clean and great when we got there. The only problem we had was that there was a leak coming from the A/C closet later in the week. We called and the maintenance man came and said it was humidity and turned on the humidifier and said we should be fine. We were gone all day on Saturday and before we left on Sunday morning it had leaked all in our master closet getting everything wet including our luggage. That kind of made us unhappy. I did report it again but it was too late to help us.

  We loved staying here! The views of the ocean from the balcony and the side view were amazing! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very spacious with the island. The couch seemed very worn and was not comfortable. The large TV in the living room was great and there was a tv in each of the bedrooms. I loved the ocean view and access to the balcony from the master bedroom. The bathrooms were great size. Overall the place was clean and the decor was nice. The only things I would like to suggest is getting a new couch and there needs to be cabinet space in the kitchen to put groceries. There were 2 panties which were both locked so we could not store groceries for the week and there was only room in 1 small cabinet above the stove, all of the other cabinets were all full of dishes.

  We stayed in Summerlin 101 May 20-24, 2018. The condo was exceptionally clean. Access was easy and amazing. We used the keypad on the front door and enjoyed not having to keep up with a key. The balcony was amazing a we watched dolphins play every day while drinking coffee. Check in and check out with the app was super simple and the follow up calls from the Brooks and Shorey personnel were professional and helpful. Loved listening to the waves from the balcony. We were right above the pool, but never heard the swimmers. The appliances were up to date and everything worked well. Having garage parking was easy and convenient. Beaches in front of our bldg were never crowded and always had access to beach chairs and umbrella. Walked to the pier - it’s a lot further than it looks. But, really enjoyed the walk and lots to see there. Will definitely return to this vacation rental when we go back to Okaloosa Island.

  Nice and peaceful as always. The only problem is I don't know if its cause I am getting older or what but the bed in the master is terrible, so were the sheets. The bed is getting harder and the sheet were rough fabric softener would work wonders. but other wise I had a great time. I even got a double rainbow one morning it was beautiful.

Summerlin is a great condo, private and comfortable, the floorplans are the best with the master bedroom on the beach side having access to the balcony..you can't beat this setup!! We'll get in this unit and inspect the mattress, make sure it's up to standards, unfortunately mattress preference is a very personal thing and it's extremely difficult to have one mattress be perfectly comfy to every guest that comes to the unit. Rainbows on our gorgeous Gulf Coast are ENDLESS...a double rainbow is even better!! So glad you enjoyed your trip this time, we can't wait to hear from you for your next trip down.

  The rental was really nice. The carpeting was new, the kitchen was fully loaded with high end appliances and granite counter tops. The view and the location to the beach were amazing. Having a washer and dryer onsite was really nice. This comes with a umbrella and two chairs which was great. My only recommendation for this condo is to upgrade the bed mattress. For having thousands of dollars in updates in the kitchen the bed was very "motel" feeling. It offered no support and the sheets were like sand paper. For the kids this is no big deal, but for parents this is a huge selling point. We even went to sleep on the couch multiple nights because it was more comfortable.

  We love this place .The location is great. Updated appliances. The mattresses could be up dated, I didn't have a problem with the one in the master bedroom but the ones in the other room I was told not very good. But other than that we just love the place. The view off the balcony it great. The staff is great. We have been coming here 5 years and this year 2 times once in the spring then again in the fall. We feel right at home.

  We love condo 101. Its our home away from home. Location is perfect, 1st floor corner condo. Views from the balcony are great. We watch the dolphins in the morning drinking coffee , and in the evening after a day down at the beach. People there are so nice. The staff at Brookes and Shorey are fantastic. The summerlin is close to everything you need. great location. Love the up graded appliances. I am Fixing to make my reservation for next year.

  The property description is accurate. We've stayed in this building before, although in a different condo. The property is very nice, clean, and seems very well maintained. Unit 101 is very pretty and comfortable. Although the weather wasn't particularly good, the condo was exceptionally good. No problems at all.   Great condo! Summerlil 101 was Great! You could not have had a better location! Just steps to the Ocean. Views were great! Corner condo gave us views on two sides which was great. Covered reserve parking made it so good. Elevator was in good location and was easy to use. Have stayed in some condos that had to have number codes to get to floors that was confusing but not here! Plenty of kitchen room and supplies. We hope to return again!!

  The Summerlin is fantastic. Great location a little off the beaten path but yet close to everything. With only 30 units it was over run with people, and the beach wasn't crowded. We stayed in 101. It was a great unit views were great. Like in other review it could use some tender loving care but other than that it was great. I know its hard to super clean everything in a short time when people are moving out and others waiting to move right in. WE WILL BE BACK!

  This is a wonderful place to stay. I have a 2 year old and the pool was never crowded so he was able to enjoy the pool.   Great place overall, unit was large and very nice and beach was very accessible. Only a couple of complaints - maintenance man banging on pipes or running a weed eater right below us several mornings as early as 7:30, and the balcony doors needed cleaning in order to have a decent view.

  We stayed at Summerlin and we enjoyed the vacation so much! On the day we had to leave and come home, none of us wanted to leave! The property was great. The pool was nice, clean and almost as if it were just for us as it was not crowded. The beaches were clean and as the pool, not crowded.

  The condo was great. Had addtional items not found in a regular rental.(Their were beach chairs & sand toys). The staff at Brooks & Shorey were very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

  Summerlin 101 is one of the best condos I have ever stayed in. The location, decor, layout is just awesome! It was great to be on the corner right above the pool and the beach boardwalk! And the staff??? THE BEST EVER!!! We have already made reservations (after we got home LAST year) for this summer! (July 25 - July 31) and hopefully will continue to come back every single summer. Our four kids LOVED it, too and felt like they were at home...none of us ever want to leave once we get settled in!
