Walk out onto the private gulf front balcony and gaze at the emerald green ocean, white sandy beaches, and dolphins swimming by. All of our two bedrooms at the Islander Beach Resort feature a full kitchen equipped with all major appliances, dishes, utensils, and cookware for your convenience. A washer and dryer is furnished in the unit as well!

Features fresh paint, new furnishings, area rugs and a style that you will adore. The views from this unit are unbelievable. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The sofa in the living room is a queen size sleeper. Lots of comfortable seating in the beach front living room and the modern dining area. TVs in all rooms, a business corner and FREE WIFI.

The sleeping arrangements in this unit are as follows: Master bedroom - 1 King bed, 2nd bedroom - 1 Queen bed, Sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit sleeps 6.

Islander Beach Resorts have access to one of Okaloosa Island's largest gulf-side pools, a shuffleboard court, and a barbeque grill area. A quick stroll across the boardwalk puts you right on the beach! All guests have Free High-Speed Internet access in their unit, as well as wireless Internet access in our lobby..  

The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

All of our daily and weekly guests receive the following complimentary guest package: 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella set up for you on the beach daily (March 1 to October 31); 1 free round of golf at your choice of 6 different courses daily; 1 free pass to a dolphin cruise daily (March to October 31) ; 1 free adult pass to a snorkeling cruise daily (March to September 30) and free WiFi..

Able to get in the pool 2 days and only get a hint of a sunburn. The condo was great. The carpet was so nice to have on the cool nights. Great stay as always.   Our experience with Brooks and Shorey and the Islander was great. The employees of both were a pleasure to deal with and Brooks and Shorey made sure we were all set when it came time to check in. The condo complete was nice and well maintained and easy beach access. The 2 chairs per condo were a treat and the beaches and water were pristine. The condos were all well stocked - especially 5008, they had everything from kitchenware to extra blankets. Only negative would be the sofa bed mattress it wasn't even comfortable for kids to sleep on. that needs to be changed if you are going to advertise sleeping capacity. Honestly an air mattress would have been better. Otherwise will definitely be back and use Brooks again!

  My wife and I have stayed at the Islander resort many times in the past. We have stayed at Different rooms here and are happy with all of them. 5008 was pretty nice though some things were a little dated. Otherwise the view and the wide panoramic view of the ocean is better then most of the other condos we've stayed along Ft Walton beach. The condo was well stocked with cookware and dishes. We had to call Brookes and Shorey for a beeping smoke detector which they took care of promptly and replaced all the other ones while they were there. We took advantage of the free Sea blaster sunset dolphin cruise which we do every year. Beach service was great as usual. My wife and I look forward to our stay here almost every year. Just bring a few batteries for the remotes. Never know when they will die. As usual Brookes and Shorey does a great job. Overall a great condo. Would stay there again.

  Condo was great for our first family vacay (mom, Dad, nine year-old). This place had plenty of space to stretch out when we had too much togetherness.
  
  We walked into a clean condo and we found it very user-friendly and available. You overlook the pool, and the ocean view is awesome.
  
  We utilized most of the amenities-there were lots of extra kitchen appliances if wr needed them. We cooked most nights or warmed up leftovers.
  
  Our family would love to stay here in the future. My kiddo loved the pool too much!
  
  Notes on stay:
  -Bring your own bath towels. We were only provided two for our group of three. Shampoos and soaps were included.
  -Make sure the washer lid is pushed all the way down. Laundry detergent was included. W/D is located behind the very first door on the left when walking in.
  -No recycling on-site
  -No extra blankets in the condo so bring your own
  -Hair dryers were included in each bathroom
  -Beach chairs and umbrellas were set up each morning and removed in the afternoon by staff
  -Pool was cleaned each day by staff
  -A coke vending machine was on the first floor
  -Parking was great (one of my big anxiety triggers) but the lot was big and we could park our F-150 just fine
  -Be up by 7 am to see the dolphins

It was so great to walk right out to the pool and beach with our young kids. The free chairs and umbrella on the beach were so convenient and comfortable, and the attendants were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in/out digitally and didn't have to worry about when the office would be open, etc. We would definitely book this spot again!

  Brooks & Shorey never disppoints, we had a blast as always, one thing I would recommend is adding a couple of skillets and pots to the condo, this unit didn't have much to cook in as much as the others we have stayed in.   The condo was pretty well clean and equipped. The dryer was real loud. The elevators were slow and not cleaned each day. I kept getting parking notes telling me I needed a parking pass each day even though I had my parking pass displayed in the windshield.   Our stay at Islander 5008 was great. The view from the balcony is amazing (we saw dolphins our last morning there) and the access to the beach is super easy, which was important with a 2 yr old. The condo was clean when we got there and we had everything we needed. My only two suggestions would be to upgrade the mattress in the guest bedroom, it is super hard and uncomfortable (the one in tbe master is very comfortable) and fix the light over the kitchen table, it didn't work the whole time. But our stay was great and we would stay at the Islander when we come back to the area.

  The unit was nicely updated with a good floor plan, it was recently remodeled. the rental process, checkin, check out, all extremely easy. The location is great, views amazing! We did not have the best of weather so the balcony and view from the windows mesnt alot. my only critism is the bedroom we stayed in was very musty smelling. Its humid in Florida, i aired it out with the ceiling fans during the day.

This is a recently updated unit, and we were unaware of any sort of musty smell in the unit anywhere...we certainly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, we're looking into it! Unfortunately the salt water of the GUlf of Mexico that's right in front of our condos while gorgeous and refreshing to visit, it does bring humidity to everything and yes leaving the ceiling fan on does help sometimes. There are always pros and cons to everything, same applies here but we happen to think the pros outweigh the cons by far, so we take on the humidity, must and sand full force and just try to keep up!   The rental was perfect for my family. We loved the view and found the rental to be in the perfect location. It was not crowded like Destin and that was a plus. Check in and check out were smooth processes. We would love to come back again.
  My only suggestion would be to upgrade thread count on bed sheets. They were rough for the amount of money you pay to rent it.

  The rental agent and check-in experience were great. The beach was beautiful as always and there were plenty of chairs and unbrellas available for use. Overall the room was OK. the kitchen was stocked with utencils and the beds had fresh linens but were not comfortable. the bathrooms need work. The exhaust vents were couated with dirt and hairspray and barely worked. The hair dryers provided (both bathrooms) did not work. toenail trimmings and long dark hairs were found on the floor and the sinks were not very clean. But at least the elevators worked fine this trip.

    What a disappointment to hear your unenthusiastic feedback after once again staying at the Islander. This unit is literally one of the most updated and newest units on our program. The owner completely refurnished the entire condo only a few months ago!! We are so sorry it didn't live up to your standards. Every guest we've had this summer stay in this unit has loved the upgrades and all the new additions. Hair dryers are optional and up to the owner to provide, we'll have them removed if they truly don't work. Thank you for visiting come back to Fort Walton Beach soon!

  My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Ft. Walton area. Lots to do and great weather. The perks included were excellent, golf, beach lounge and umbrellas were gratefully received. One suggestion for improvement. The "Welcome Bag" given by the rental agent was extremely lacking. On a recent weeks condo stay in Florida Keys the welcome bag contains small bottle of coffee mate, tea bags, coffee, micro popcorn and numerous discount coupons.

  We were very much fans of this place! We used to stay at a different property on Santa Rosa Island, but we could only stay four nights and their reservations were for a week minimum. We were not disappointed with our switch to the Islander! The first thing we noticed upon walking in was how fresh and clean everything smelled and looked. The sheets and towels were pristine and we found no problems with the unit at all. They took care to provide everything that was needed, for example most places only provide one dishwashing gel but there were three or four in the unit here.
  
  We loved the beach service and the keyless entry to the condo and the pool was well-maintained. We will definitely stay again.
