Take a stroll down Okaloosa Island just a couple miles and take in your new vacation home location, solidarity and peacefulness are a commodity at the Pelican Isle Condominiums. Being just far enough down the Island, you'll be away from the traffic of the main land so that noise will not interrupt your relaxation, BUT you are still within just a little bit of a walk down the gorgeous sugar white sand beaches to the restaurants, shops and activities that Fort Walton Beach has to offer. No sky-scrapers or massive buildings to impede your views, all properties are seven stories and below on Okaloosa Island so you'll not have to worry about the possibility of your views being cut short.
Its one building is conducive to a smaller crowd on property, but the size of the units and the amenities are above standards here- pool and hot tub on the Gulf side, as well as a gym and direct beach access via boardwalk.
Drive underneath the parking garage and you'll find your privately reserved covered parking spot. It's yours the entire length of your stay in unit 603 (only a certain few units have a spot-huge PERK to renting this condo particularly)Head up to the top sixth floor where you'll walk down the hallway to find your condo almost at the end. With the entry code we give you on your arrival date, you'll have entrance to your vacation home instantly. From the moment you enter, you'll surely be amazed by the beautiful Gulf of Mexico being your permanent backdrop.

The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

  Our family enjoyed staying at Pelican Isle in room 603. The beds were comfy and the entire condo was very clean. The kitchen had everything I needed and it was nice to have a Keurig coffee maker (there was a regular pot maker, as well). The beach was incredible, of course, and it was so nice to have the chairs and umbrellas available. We enjoyed grilling outside and spending time in the hot tub, too. We would definitely stay here again.

  Everything was fantastic. We have stayed at PI three or four times, and 603 has been the best. It is beautifully done and well cared for. It is definitely truly as pictured. The covered parking spot and the daily beach service are our favorite perks. We also took advantage of the complimentary excursions provided. We go on the Seablaster every time we visit-it is a family favorite! This time, we also went on the Cattywampus catamaran, and it is a must. Such a relaxing morning! The Okaloosa Island Boardwalk, a favorite spot of ours, is super close. The Shack and Parlor Doughnuts, both in FWB, were new discoveries to us this time. Both were amazing! We can’t wait to come back and this unit is available when we do!

  The condo was as stated online. Could have used one more chair for living room instead of dining chair. We like to sleep in darkness and all bedrooms faced the corridor so lighting and early morning sun came in. Curtains would be nice. The kitchen was well appointed with pots an pans dishes silverware. You do need to bring all you own condiments including salt and pepper. Beach staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all a nice relaxing stay.

  We were only in Pelican Isle 603 for three days but they were fantastic. The condo was spotless, well appointed, stocked with everything you need and is perched on the 6th floor to give you the best view of the Gulf. The beach is one of the top 3 I have ever visited. It was also great to have chairs and umbrella set up on the beach for you each morning, just need to get out early and reserve one before they are gone. Also having a reserved parking spot was great, keeping the car cool and covered was a plus. Thanks for a lovely stay, we would definitely consider coming back to this location and gladly recommend it to others.

  This was our first time renting a condo and our first time vacationing in the fort walton, okaloosa island area. We could not asked for a better place to stay. This condo was clean. The view was fantastic. There were 5 of us (3adults 1teenage boy and 1 10year old boy) and we all had plenty of space. Bedding was great. Bathroom was clean and newly remodeled as well as the kitchen. We had a little bit of issue with the Wi-Fi but it didn't bother us since we spent most time outside. The only other thing was the building. PI is in need of some renovations. A building that size and in the full summer months definitely needs both elevators working at all times. A few of those talk hotel bell-hop carts would be helpful as well.

  Hard to beat the view and value at Pelican Isle. We were on the top floor with a great view of the beach. The room was spacious with everything we needed for our stay. One complaint would be the key codes for the door. Not sure about the other units, but our code often took upwards of 10 tries before we could get it to open. Oddly enough it seemed to happen more often at night when we were returning from dinner. That's only issue we had though. Would definitely stay again.

  If I could give this 20 stars, I would in a heart beat. This room was absolutely beautiful and out did our expectations. Everything was darn near perfect from all the discounts offered, the room supplies everything needed in the kitchen, the movie machine, the supplied beach chairs and umbrella set up and taken down by staff. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be using this resort for our future vacations. The view is absolutely beautiful from the balcony and the rooms were very spacious and nicely laid out. Thank you and your staff for the wonderful service and answering my 50 billion questions when calling to book.
  The resort is just minutes away from family fun activities and amazing boardwalks with even more activities and of coarse shopping.
  
  The only suggestion would be that you let your vacationers know there are extra towels under the bathroom sink as i'm not one to snoop around in cabinets. Also, please let your guest know about the beach chairs and umbrellas provided on the beach for their specific room. These were not things told to us so we did not find out until our third day.

  Being weary of our Feb snow, we headed to lovely Ft.Walton Beach, FL w/out much advance notice. Delighted that we found this condo available along w/spring discounts & many amenities--garage parking,beach service included,cable TV & wifi, DVR, W/dryer, & on site office. Lots of towels, loved the whirlpool tub & having 2 full baths. So enjoyed the balcony views of the amazing gulf! Everything was as pictured/described,unit was clean, everything in working order, plenty of dishes & utensils in kitchen, etc. Our condo was very quiet (no spring breakers even tho it was March) & while the MB didn't face the gulf,it's quite large. Lobby area was nice as were the front desk folks--very handy to have 2 elevators & lots of big carts for luggage & groceries. We totally enjoyed staying here & would certainly return, esp when it's warm enough to play in the attractive pool ! PI is close to many good restaurants, shopping,a grocery store,& it's just 12 miles from the VPS airport (we flew down), making it a most convenient location.

  The condo was just as it looked in the pictures. It was beautiful, warm and inviting. My family of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom and had a ton of room. The view from the balcony was perfect. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We will absolutely come back.

  PI 603 was just what I was looking for as far as space,location,amenities,access to desirable vacation activities. The worst part was not the faulty of B&S but Shalimar Golf club where our free golf was included was in so bad of shape the guys in the shop apologized before we even started play.

  We have enjoyed this unit. The one suggestion we would recommend is that the master bedroom needs to be furnished with a satisfactory bureau. For those of us who reside here for an extended period of time the lack of clothing storage is quite difficult. Other than that it is a nice unit.

  This was a great weekend. The condo was cleaned and well furnished. We enjoy the beach and stay on the island each summer. We usually stay at Gulf Dunes but this was very similar. Only down side was the living room is small and there is wasted space in the master bed room.

  We had a very nice time! Pelican Isle 603 is a nice place to stay. It could use some updating. The dishwasher was the original dishwasher in the condo and the wheels of the bottom rack were rusted off. The master shower tub was really nice. But it would have been nicer if the shower head was attached to the wall so it didn't have to be held the whole time while showering.

  My family and I came in for Spring break. We were very happy with our unit at the Pelican Isle. We have visited Ft. Walton many times over the years and this is ranked at the top of one of our best stays yet! Maintenance was quick to respond to a minor issure we had upon arrival.   I was disappointed in a few things. It didn't seem to be as nice as the brochures showed. The hallways were dirty and there was a hole torn in the floor coating just outside our door (603). I almost fell and our Grandaughter did fall and skin her knee
  up pretty bad. Inside the condo the leather furniture was worn & torn in places. The bed coverlet ; bedskirt were dirty & stained. The carpet was dirty in big spots where it looked as if someone had spilled something. The shower curtain was almost
  torn from the hangers. Management was kind enough to send housekeeping up with a new one. Water collected on the balcony because of the storm shutters not letting it drain off ; the kids wanted to play in the stagnant water so we had to try &; keep them
  in. They never did send anyone up to get it off as we asked. The one elevator was slow. The doors had a hard time opening & closing. The elevator guys were there a couple of days a week to try fix them. Unit 610 wasn't any better. The cammode gave trouble,
  the chair in the living room was torn on the side & the back. The closet door glide in the x-tra bedroom was broken. call me if you need any more info in Mentone, Al
