FREE PARKING AND FREE WIFI!!! This is a one-bedroom/two-bath unit with a lovely tropical decor accented with wildlife, with all of the conveniences of home. Enjoy fashionable and well appointed accommodations during your stay. Experience breathtaking views of the beach & gulf from your patio daily; making it the perfect spot to call home during your next beach vacation. With a king-size in the bedroom, bunk beds with own flat screen TV's, and a sleeper sofa, this unit sleeps up to six guests! The kitchen can accommodate six as well with a table for four and two bar stools. The living room offers a relaxing view of the Gulf - no need to turn on the television! If you would like to watch television, though, there is a flat-screen TV in the living area as well as a TV in the bedroom. HUGE perk to renting PI 402 that not every condo has, BUNK BED TV'S!!! Flat screen TV wall-mounted for each bunk bed in the hallway helps keep the little ones entertained while you enjoy your own entertainment/adult time. Being able to enjoy his/her own TV makes vacationing here feel like home!

Granite counter-tops are beautiful and really bring out the upscale feel to PI 402. The addition of granite is no little amenity, customized counters throughout the unit bring 402 to life so each guests feels the comforts of paradise at an upscale rate!

Outside from the balcony you can view a grass court directly below and the resort's pool and jacuzzi further down. If you are interested in a little privacy, the balcony also features an external shutter. Built for protection, the shutters are an additional safety feature of unit 402 that not all condos afford.

The location of this unit is PERFECT. Exit the elevator and go east down the hallway ALL THE WAY TO THE END, Unit 402 sits by the corner unit at the end of the building. Skip the elevator noises and activity from hallway traffic by being towards the end of the fourth floor. OR skip the elevator scene altogether by taking the stairwell at the end of the hallway literally next to the entry of unit 402. How convenient!! If you're looking for peacefulness-THIS IS IT!! The balcony is ideally located at the end of the property building, making relaxation time on the balcony a quiet experience. This also places your access to the boardwalk conveniently in front of the patio of 402, just adding to the WOW factor of this unit.

Our rental unit in Pelican Isle was very clean. I would eliminate the fake flower arrangements - they are dust collectors. Also, bring your own hangers as there were no hangers in the closet! Other than that, the condo was fine. Pelican Isle Mgmt needs to fix the elevator - maybe it's fixed now but the entire week we were there, it was out of commission leaving only 1 elevator.

We love the property and location. Brooks and Shorey are also great to work with. They were quick to address most issues. However, the last time we were there I don't think we had to call them once. Thus unit needs a little updatin.
For example the washing machine sounds like a jet engine when on spin cycle (can barely hear each other talk). Hopefully that will be addressed soon because otherwise a great place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as advertised, clean and organized. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the waves and everyone we encountered was super nice. Other than the carpet our unit was clean. I’m not saying the carpet was dirty, just stained. It was a great size for the two of us. We loved having the beach service included!! The condo was fine, but it was not a good time for the beach, not your fault, though. I did take a shower one day in the master bath with the door open, and the smoke alarm went off, wasn't a very "hot" shower, so not sure why it went off, just wanted to report. A plug behind bed on right side, one outlet didn't work and one didn't work in kitchen, no big deal, we had others to use.

Thankfully we only got some wind and rain and it cleared up right after, we are grateful that it wasn't any worse and that our visitors were still able to come enjoy the beautiful beaches we have here in Fort Walton Beach. Thank you for your comments on the condo, maintenance will check those outlets and change them out if needed, but the way the condos are wired, a lot of the outlets are controlled by a light switch in the same sometimes the light switch is off and there is no power to the outlet, hopefully this is the issue there. We will look into it though and we will look forward to your return visits to beautiful Okaloosa Island!

Pelican Isle was a great location for our first visit to the panhandle. We were close to restaurants but not in the midst of traffic. The condo was clean and efficient and comfortable. The complimentary beach chairs an umbrella meant we didn’t have to lug all that back and forth. We will definitely choose pelican isle again!

We stayed in our unit for 5 nights and loved it!!! The beach was awesome and the water was crystal clear. We used our beach chairs everyday and LOVED having them. Wished the foot washing station was a little closer to where you come off the beach. But, if all you have with you is a towel, it's fine. The pool and Hot tub were wonderful.
Our unit was great. Had everything we needed in it. And a well stocked supply of towels. :-) The bed was comfortable. The living room furniture was just okay. Rocker cushion wasn't cushy anymore and the sofa was so/so. But who spends much time in the room anyway!
McGuire's restaurant is a must! We ended up there 4 times. Sunday brunch...Awesome!! Lunch specials were WONDERFUL! The Crab Shack was very good too. And the Rockin' Taco Nachos...SUPER! They are split-able for dinner.

This place was great for my family of 5. More lovely than the pictures. I can't even name my favorite things, but having two bathrooms and laundry in the condo as well as a great kitchen are worth mentioning. And beach chair setup was a perfect addition.

Your 5 star ratings on our online questionnaire say everything and we hope all our future guests take your words to heart. Condo 402 Pelican Isle is in a great location on the fourth floor, being towards the end of the hallway right by the corner unit you really get some extra peace and quiet from hallway travelers. Having a full size kitchen and washer/dryer are just a few of the amenities that renting a condominium bring you that make it all worth while and way better than hotel renting. You have the opportunity to save on food and splurge more on fun activities on your beach vacation when you rent with us. The complimentary beach setup is a huge plus to renting through us at Brooks and Shorey Resorts as that comes complimentary with every condo we offer!!   Pelican Isle is the ideal family-oriented location and we love these one bedroom two bath condo setups. The VIEWS are unbelievable from this location on Okaloosa Island and this condo in particular is a well setup and taken care of unit. Being at the end of the hallway affords you privacy and an extra bit of protection from noises. Bunk bed TV's are a HUGE hit for everyone and we thank you for pointing this out as they are not standard. The owner of the condo has to individually provide these so this is a huge perk to renting this condo specifically. Our unit was great! We enjoyed our stay very much. The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. My daughter enjoyed the bunk beds with her own tv. We enjoyed the dolphin cruise and free movie rentals at night located in the lobby. Overall a very nice condo. Well furnished and all appliances were in good condition. The unit was on the eastern end of the building and away from the outdoor pool which made for a nice quiet location. Several of the light fixtures were either missing bulbs or were burned out. It took two days to get replacement light bulbs. Stocking spare light bulbs at the on site property management office would make it much easier to resolve this type of problem.

  We apologize sincerely for our lack of follow through on the bulb status in your condo while you were here vacationing. This was a one time occasion, we assure you it has been addressed and the proper steps by management have been made to see that this does not happen again. The location of unit 402 in the building is perfect. You are down from the elevators and the pool and hot tubs, you are one down from the corner unit. You're really close to the stairs for easy access when you choose to skip the elevators. Yet the fourth floor views are astonishing, just breathtaking. At the Pelican Isle condos, all of them are GULF FRONT and that's such a treat. Nothing stands between you and the emerald green water of the Gulf of Mexico, you can't get better locations on the beach!! Upon arrival the condo was very muggy. The air filter needed changing and the front desk took care of it immediately. Minimal problem and the only one we experienced!!
For the price, the condo was great. Awesome view!!! The beaches weren't crowded since it's a smaller building.
The bunk beds are only ideal for smaller kids. My 7 year old slept on the top and hit her head multiple times. It was very difficult for her to get in and out.
Overall, I would highly recommend it for a small family.

I loved the location and the condo was clean and had all items we needed. I do wish there was a pantry and somewhere to put clothes for the person/persons staying in the bunk area. There was no storage and that made us feel cramped. The "first come first serve" beach chair deal was a big hassle. I spent 1.5 hours every day on beach 7-830 to get the chairs that we get with our condo. Other than that everything was perfect.

The beach service company is not associated with us at Brooks and Shorey Resorts. Whenever there is an issue we encourage you to talk to the beach attendant as he is in charge. You receive two chairs and one umbrella every day, the way they put them up is totally up to them, however we have not had any complaints about this beach service. The condo looks exactly like it does in the photos. It was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The only problem we had was that the top bunk was very close to the ceiling and the bottom bunk did not have a lot of headroom, either. So, if you have big kids, they have to watch their heads. That being said, my daughters and I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

There's not much negative to say about this place. We were running WAY behind schedule for arrival and called to let them know. They gave us our code so we didn't even have to bother with the box out front, which was a great relief for these weary travelers. The condo was super clean and literally steps from the beach. Everything was there (aside from food and more than two days worth of toilet paper/cleaning supplies) and organized. The location was great...not on the busy road at all. The only things that I can say were wrong was there needs to be a heavier curtain in the bedroom because of the light in the stairwell at night (we just hung a dark beach towel up), the door slamming from the next condo can be annoying ( but hey, you're on vacation..you need to get up early!) and the bedroom bathroom shower has a slow drain. Otherwise, we LOVED it. We would definitely stay here again.

I spent months looking online for a condo in Destin. We were in town for a wedding during the Memorial Day weekend and decided to make it a mini vacation and go down a few days before. It was our first vacation as a family of 3. Our son is 5 months old. I couldn't be more pleased with this rental property. The condo was beautiful and clean. I laid one of our blankets on the floor and let our baby nap in the living room. I wouldn't of done that if I felt the condo was dirty in any way. The view was amazing. We could see dolphins from our balcony! We were far enough from the "Destin" crowd that our beach felt like a private beach. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook so you don't have to eat out every meal. If you are like me, hunting for months for the perfect spot for your family.. STOP LOOKING AND STAY HERE. Don't stay in Destin. WAY too tourist-y and crowded. Again, we stayed the week before Memorial Day and left Sunday, the day before the holiday. You could tell the town/beach was getting crowded as the weekend holiday approached but during the week, the beach was empty. Just something to keep in mind when you go. We had a wonderful time in this unit. It was well appointed and the view was gorgeous. I guess the only "complaint" was that the bedroom is at the hall end of the unit instead of the beach side, which made it a little noisy early in the morning, but that is just a layout issue. The unit was very clean and the beach was awesome. Not too crowded and family friendly.

Great view of the beach and sunrise/sunset !
I have been at this property several times in the past years for a week or two at either T'giving or Christmas/New Yrs or both and in this unit a few times. Booked for a month this time and will stay 2 months next year.
Agents are always helpful. PI has an onsite Mgr and that is a plus (The WiFi router went out and she came up and replaced it and set it up in just a few minutes). I also left my swim suit in the dryer before I left and called her the next day and she retrieved it and is keeping it for me when I return next week.
Pool and hot tub are both heated and the onsite fitness room is also a plus. Washer/Dryer in unit is great for long term stay.
Kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances and utensils. Returning "Snowbirds" are all very friendly.
There is A Publix Market just across the Brooks Bridge and several restaurants on the "mainland" nearby. When I did not cook, I spent most of the time at the restaurants just up the road in Destin, a 10 minute drive.
Okaloosa Island is very quiet and the road is a dead end so no through traffic.
I would recommend this property to friends AFTER I make my own reservations !!

We enjoyed our vacation at Pelican Isle unit 402. The unit was clean and the bathrooms were well equipped with plenty of towels. The kitchen was clean but lacked room for food storage. The beach was beautiful and having the umbrella and beach chairs everyday was great! The pool however was very small and right up on the condo, which we didn't really enjoy. But we prefer the beach over the pool anyway. Overall we had a good stay.

This was the 4th year in a row that we visited Pelican Isle. Overall, everything is nice and the beach service is very convenient. That being said.... Every year the rates have gone up. This year compared to last it was an increase of almost $500$. So it may be worth it to shop around.....

If your looking for a lovely beach without the crowds and traffic of Destin then look no further. My family and I really enjoyed our week at the Pelican Isle room 402. The condo was very clean, and the amenities were lovely. It had simple touches that made our stay all the more comfortable like the ceiling fan in the bedroom. It was amazing, the blades spun so fast that cooled the room as soon as it started spinning, but didn't shake. The washer and dryer made keeping beach towels and bathing suits clean and dry very convenient. Every night you could rent two movies for a good family time staying in. The condo also came with two beach chairs and an umbrella set up on the beach each morning. In order to get a good spot you have to get out there and place towel on your chairs by around 8:00 to 8:15 otherwise you're sitting on the back row. My husband went and did that every morning and then came back to the room for breakfast. No one ever messed with out stuff and we always felt safe. Each of these things can be found at most condos rentals, but at this condo they are provided free of charge. They don't nickel and dime you to death because they clearly value your comfort. There are several tasty restaurants near by (Props, Burrito Del Sol). There is a huge shower in the second bathroom which is perfect for a quick clean up after the pool especially if you have small kids. My daughters loved the TVs in the bunk beds, but know that only the top bunk has a DVD player. The view from the patio is amazing. The condo is perfectly placed because its right by the stairs, a very short distance from the elevator, but far enough that we never heard foot traffic. It is also far enough away from the pool that you can see it, but you don't hear the commotion going on below. We will be returning, and would recommend the condo to anyone and everyone.

I have been staying at B & S properties at least once per year for several years and have always been satisfied with accommodations and customer service.
Reservation and check in is always seamless. This year I stayed over Christmas & New Years for 17 days. Condo is always in great shape and well stocked with kitchen essentials, although I had to buy a cheap colander/strainer this year. (Gotta have one to boil shrimp or pasta!)Property Mgr told me afterwards that I should have told her and they would have gotten one. No biggee.
Washer and dryer in unit is a big plus, especially for a long stay.
Great Sunrise/Sunset from the balcony, pool was warm, Spa warmer.
Saw the COLD weather forecast for Oklahoma the last week and extended my stay for a few days with absolutely no problems.

We have stayed at Pelican Isle every year since it was built and love the location. It is out of the heavy traffic over in Destin but only about 8 minutes to Destin and all of the great places to eat like Harbor Docks. Will be back next year.

The condo was very clean and very nice. The kids loved the TV in the bunks and all the decor! Having two full bathrooms was very nice and honestly so very clean. Loved having a washer and dryer in the room. Everything was operational in the unit and the property manager was very helpful. The only issue we had with the unit was that the balcony door didn't open smoothly and we were afraid the kids would break it trying to pull it open, so we stopped by to tell the desk and it was fixed that day. The balcony furniture could use some updating but served its purpose. I enjoyed getting up every morning and watching the dolphins in the water from our room and hearing the ocean sing us to sleep every night. I also really loved standing in the kitchen and being able to see the water. The beach was very clean and the chair service included in the room was a great added plus. The area is safe and family orientated. The location is close to a grocery and many places to eat and shop. LOVED IT!

The complex and the staff were very nice, as was the location. The weather and the water were very nice most of the week. The bathrooms were nice, and lots of linens was great. My major complaint was the furniture (bed, couch, and chair) were very uncomfortable,
and minor stuff like no working can opener and no decent size coffee mugs. I reluctantly wouldn't recommend the property as we rented better for less money.

We had a great stay at the Pelican Isle 402. It was clean, nice and cozy for our family of four. The kids loved the tv's for each bed of the bunkbed, however, one of the remotes was missing its battery. Overall, I'd stay there again.

The only thing I would say is that the there was a note on the refrigerator to not change turn down the temp on the fridge, but it really did not keep things very cold. Also a note to not turn the air below 75. This was not always comfortable. There were times when we needed to turn the air down.

I guess my biggest disappointment was the room not being ready upon arrival. We drove for 10 hours and was not allowed inside the room until 5:30 pm I did not think this was fair after all we paid for the full day! The room was clean and when I reported the problems with the tv and light bulbs they were promptly fixed. My suggestion would be that people who travel so far should be allowed to check in around 2 or after but 4 to 6 does not justify paying a full days worth! We arrived at 2 and management knew we wanted in the room and was told that the maids did not show due to holiday and no one was available to check the cleanliness. I was like let me look and I will let you know if it is clean or not and that was not allowed. The way it was handled was not good. Especially when another employee said our room was in fact ready. There was another family in the lobby with the same problem!
