Corner unit on the west end of the building which allows this condo to have more square footage than any other 2 Bedroom condo at Summerlin . 47" flat-screen TV in the living room, and a 32" flat-screen TV in the master bedroom..

All guests at the Summerlin can use the resort pool, BBQ grills, and boardwalk to go directly to the beach. Our units at this resort also have free high-speed internet access. These units are a great place to stay, whether you're here for a few days or a few months!

We had to walk down the road to a public access. Then you had to walk back down the beach to Summerlins chairs. Why weren't these repairs done before vacation season.

  The getaway for Christmas was perfect. Brooks and Shorey make booking, check-in, check-out and the experience easy and pleasurable. The condo was extremely well stocked with the utensils we needed to prepare and serve a Christmas feast for us and our 4 guests. The location of the condo is ideal and the views are fantastic.
  I couldn’t help but note, however, that the condo could stand some freshening up inside. Apparently some scars or scratches on the walls had been repaired with a non-matching paint that made the place look a little forlorn and in need of maintenance.
  That said, I would gladly stay there again as all of the positives far outweighed this one negative. If I owned it, however, ownership pride would require me to update the painting inside.

  Another wonderful week at Summerlin. This unit was clean and had most everything we needed. The furnishing are alittle outdated but there was adequate seating for us, there were 6 adults in the living area at times. Both king sized mattresses were very comfortable. Definitely could use a new sofa. During this Covid time, remember to bring your own blankets, and/or throws, and house shoes since there are very few area rugs.
  We have stayed at this property in the past but never a corner unit, there was noise from construction crew close by at the next property but that was just bad luck. It didn’t keep us from using the balcony but just didn’t have the privacy as other units. Overall a great stay.

  We have stayed in this condo many times. This last time with just a couple of issues. The only washcloths in condo were two. One in each bathroom that had complimentary soaps in them. Called office to report that we needed washcloths and they did not get them to us until the next day after second call. Our other issue was we could not sign on to internet. It took several calls to office to finally figure out which internet code to use. Condo seemed to need some deep cleaning. I understand that at the end of summer and many different people who stayed there that there would be sandy dirtiness. We love this condo just slightly disappointed this time. These little bumps will not keep us from coming back to same condo.

  We have been staying in Summerlin Unit 505 for many years. The location is excellent and the view is perfect. Having a corner unit feels more spacious. All of that being said, we feel like the owner needs to upgrade the furniture and cushions on the balcony, replace the mattress in the master and get some new bed spreads for both bed rooms. Hoping for these improvements by 2019.

  Great Condo! Nice furniture. Nice balcony! Great shaded parking spot! Very well kept condo. Good customer service from Brooks & Shorey Resorts! Accidentally left some earrings and the cleaning staff turned them in. We appreciated their honesty and contacting us! Beach was not that busy because condo isn't that large; which is what we like. Close enough to Destin for lots of different restaurants...but prefer Ft. Walton because it's less busy.

  This is the first time I stayed at this property. I really loved the location it was close to Destin without being in the middle of the hubbub. This stretch of the beach is quiet and family friendly. It was a huge bonus to have beach chair and umbrella set free. The pool was clean beach access was easy and we loved that there were grills on the property. Our unit was perfect for us. The view was excellent. We also really liked that there was a keypad on our doer so acces was easy and we didn’t have to keep up with a key. I would recommend this property.

    Summerlin Condominiums is a lovely property and end unit 505 is a two bedroom treat!! With the master bedroom on the beach as well as the living room, you cannot beat the setup of these two bedrooms at Summerlin. We LOVE providing the beach service to all our guests, a beach vacation is NOT complete until you've experienced the convenience of having those chairs and umbrella set up every morning for you.   Comfortable condo with great beach service! Easy access to the beach and pool, too. Rental company was unresponsive to request for access code. Actually had to call 3 times before I reached someone. Not the most professional response when I questioned the accuracy of departure date. Online request for dates were overriden and had to leave a day early. Will never use Brooks & Shorey again.

    Thank you for staying with us. We are happy that the condo was comfortable for you and that you were pleased with the beach service. We are sorry that you had trouble reaching us over the phone and overlooked your departure date. Unfortunately we find it hard to believe that you couldn't reach us by phone. Our staff answers every call immediately within business hours 8:30am - 5pm and our records indicate that we provided you with the door code at 3:43 pm central time - there is absolutely no delay in there. As far as the departure date goes, every single correspondence that we sent to you and the contract that you signed and sent a copy of shows the same departure date, on top of verbal confirmation over the phone. Our company values every customer and we strive to provide excellent customer service. We still hope that you give a chance to visit Okaloosa Island in the future, it surely is a beautiful place to spend your vacation.

  We originally booked a different condo. When we arrived to the first condo, their was work being done and the workers had blocked off the pool with scaffolding and tools. I called Brooks and Shorey immediately and they moved us with no hesitation to a new and nicer condo. We loved our stay. The condo was great, well equipped and had a great pool. Will definitely stay there again next year. Property management exceeded our expectations.

  We found 505 to be wonderful. This was our 3rd stay at the Summerlin condo and they were all great. If we have the opportunity to come again we would love to stay here. It was clean and the views from the deck was really great.I read one of the reviews that the carpet was dirty. The carpet is a little worn but this condo is on the beach and you have sand everywhere.

    Summerlin Condominiums is a beautiful property well maintained and the condos are amazing. The setup of these is super hard to find with both your master bedroom and your living room having direct balcony access-this is super difficult to come by these days.   We have stayed in Summerlin once before in a different unit and we loved it. This unit's living room furniture is dirty and worn out. The carpet in the bedrooms is dirty. You can see black areas from dirt. The shower in guest bathroom made a terrible sound for three days. We called and they sent a maintenance person over and it never got fixed. The master shower needs to be replaced. It is pulling away from the wall. There was a previous leak from the unit upstairs that never got paint you can still see the stain. The kitchen is great. It was one of best appointed kitchen we stayed in. It had everything you would need and then some. The view is absolutely amazing. In the mornings we could see the Dolphins playing and swimming. You couldn't get a better location. Close to Destin but not in the middle of all the chaos. It is very peaceful and calm at Summerlin. We got to see a turtle nest on beach. Close to Navarre Beach were you can go for shells. We found so many shells. I would definitely stay in Summerlin again just not this unit. Even with the the few problems we had a wonderful relaxing vacation.

    There's a brand new love seat in the living room of this condo and the issue with the shower head is one of the building itself as a whole, not this unit. The water pressure valve was replaced at the Summerlin right around your travel dates and this caused some air to get in the line. This would be the cause, it's nothing to do with the shower head in this unit as it's not causing problems at this moment. We have the carpets scheduled to be steam cleaned very soon also, thank you for mentioning this, we do have the option to have it done while you're here sometimes so please take note of this and at least let us know your concerns while you're here. These views are amazing-simply breathtaking and there's no doubt about this!!! Thank you kindly for staying with Brooks and Shorey Resorts and we really hope to hear back from you for another stay in the Summerlin on beautiful Okaloosa Island!!

  This was our second stay in Summerlin 505. It is a beautiful condo. We especially love the taller table and chairs on the balcony so you can easily see over the railing. Love watching the Dolphins.

  I was surprised to find this condo available at the last minute for our getaway before school started. We love Fort Walton and try to take at least one trip here each year. We have stayed in many condo's on the beach and this one is our absolute favorite! We loved it. It was roomy and the layout was perfect. The kitchen is stocked almost as well as ours - and we love to cook! I usually have a hard time sleeping away from home but the bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep through the night. We will rent this one again!

We were graciously welcomed by the staff and when we informed them our coffee maker was broken a brand new one was delivered whithin half an hour. Looking forward to renting a condo from these fine folks again next year.

  Summerlin 505 is absolutely beautiful. The condo itself is well furnished and decorated beautifully. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and a great place to enjoy an evening cocktail or early morning cup of coffee.   The condo was very clean. Had plenty of space for my wife and I and another couple we ame with. The free movie rentals were a very nice add on that came in handy because of tropical storm Karen. The beach area is very clean and having the beach chairs and umbrella was nice. Overall, even with the weather, it was a nice relaxing stay.

  The only complaint I would even remotely have would be that we had spent the night in Crestview and weren't able to check in to our condo until almost 4pm which put us wasting most of our first day. We have used Brooks and Shorey before and they have always been TERIFFIC.This was our favorite condo and we hope to be able to get it again because we will definitely be back!! Everyone from the check-in office, maintenance man and umbrella guy was great.

  I love this property, my husband and I stayed in the same unit in 2009 when we renewed our wedding vows. I love that it has direct access to the beach, only has 30 units, is always clean, convenient shopping, have never had a problem there. Lovely views!

  •You cannot use the closet in the 2nd bedroom as it is dead-bolt locked.
  •Balcony view to the west (sunset) is obstructed by building next door which sits considerably closer to the beach
  
  Housekeeping / Maintenance issues which should be addressed:
  •Mold on shower curtain liner in master bath
  •Wifi had to be reset several times
  •The dryer took over 2 hours to a few dry towels
  •The kitchen sink dripped uncontrollably
