This 3 bedroom beach front condo is TRULY amazing!! Great layout with the master bedroom located directly on the beach side with its own direct access to the balcony; a spacious kitchen with GRANITE counter-tops, a full size dining room table to accommodate all of your guests and family members. An additional entry way to the balcony is located off of the living room. The living rooms boasts a 75 inch TV for your entertainment and enjoyment!

Additionally every bedroom boasts a 55 inch TV. Twin beds in the guest bedroom have been replaced with full size beds. The VIEWS are unbelievable; you will be able to take in the beautiful scenery Okaloosa Island has to offer! Summer Place is a wonderful property with a pool area that everyone LOVES.   We loved the condo. It was very comfortable and clean. The only problem we had was we could not see the numbers on our key pad at night because the light was out. Every night I would say I am going to call and would forget until we come back from dinner. We hope we can book the same condo next September. Also the washer and dryer were so nice and big, versus those tiny ones in most condos. The complimentary umbrellas and chairs were so nice. Jake (the umbrella guy) took great care of us. Also, we ate at Old Bay Steamer across the street and the food was amazing!

  As a family, we have stayed in many of the resorts along the Ft. Walton beach area and I have to say 302 has probably been our favorite. We loved the kitchen and the living room, especially the couch, which was probably my favorite part. The only complain would be the size of the beds in the third bedroom. I think some extra furniture was added such as small dressers, which left less room for the beds and also made the room feel smaller. Most of the dressers were unused due to us just living out of suit cases anyway. Other than that, we will definitely be booking here next year.

  Large, bright condo with quick access to the beach. Easy check in and out, with app, and super easy keyless entry! The kitchen had everything we needed, but be aware the frig isn't huge, in case you're shopping before you get there.
  Our only problem was getting the wifi/cable reset so it would work, and the management company addressed the problem quickly.
  Maintenance-wise, the bedroom door of the twin bed room sticks terribly and made it difficult to open, and the drain of the left sink in the master drains slowly. Small things that didn't affect our stay. We will definitely return!

  Very good! The condo is quite spacious and is located at the east end of the building, so there isn't a lot of traffic. Felt private! Large balcony with great outdoor furniture, too. The door lock broke one morning and we could not get out of the condo. But the service man came very quickly and took care of it pronto. The dishwasher was broken. We could use it, but the top rack was a pain to get in and out. It also took the dryer a while to dry our clothes and towels. These were minor inconveniences. The stay was very nice!

  Overall we enjoyed our stay. However, we were not admitted into the unit until after the designated check in as it was not ready. Mostly clean. Still had cup rings on bedside table in guest room. The carpet in both front bedrooms needs to be replaced. It felt crunchy underfoot. There was an overwhelming de odorizing smell upon check in that thankfully cleared up within a few hours. Hot water heater had a little trouble keeping up with our group. (We did not put in any complaints though) Could use some sprucing up but the location is SUPERB!! Wonderful views and pools. Loved the high sitting chairs on the porch for morning coffee. Thank you for our stay.

The table and Charles had rust with some sharp edges which could cut someone and several holes is the walls at door stops also the dishwasher where you put the soap was broken and would not close.   This was a first time visit to Fort Walton Beach for my husband and I with our 3 grown children and daughter in law and grandson. We were NOT disappointed ! Condo was very clean and very spacious for us and the time spent in the condo. We had a fantastic view of pools and ocean from our balcony. We had great WiFi service also. Table seated 6 for the meals we prepared and ate in. We enjoyed a few meals out at AJs, where our fresh fish caught on fishing trip was prepared excellently. also ate out at Bucks BBQ and The Crab Trap. Also took advantage of the Snorkeling and Dolphin cruise but this is for those who enjoy alcoholic drinks. Snorkeling was not that great. We saw more dolphins from the walk on the Boardwalk ! Really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella daily :) Will definitely stay again !

  The condo was very nice. This was a girls trip and there were 6 of us so we loved having 2 King beds and the twins. There was plenty of seating for all 6 of us in the living & dining area and on the balcony. I love the location of this complex because you are right on the beach and you can enjoy the beautiful view and hear the sounds of the surf from your condo. I also like that the beach is such a short walk from the condo and there are no stairs to navigate at the end of the pier. The management company was very helpful and easy to work with.
  We had only one complaint and that was that the wifi reception was awful so it made internet connection virtually nonexistent. I would love to return to this condo for future trips, but unless the wifi is upgraded that will be a deal breaker for our group. We have made this trip annually for the past 15 years and stayed in many different complexes and we really like this one, but in this day and age wifi connection is vital. Hopefully they can fix this problem quickly because we would love to return.

Girls trips are such a thrill and we were so happy to have provided yall with an updated and well-suited three bedroom condo. Summerplace is a nice property and these views are awesome. What sad news to hear that a 15 year tradition could possibly be ruined by an iffy wifi connection. We have our general manager getting a new router and modem in the condo and this should not be an issue at all anymore in this condo. We really hope you were able to get out to the Gulf and enjoy some girl time in the sun and white sand!! Memories are meant to be made here in paradise!   We stayed at Summer Place for Spring Break the first week in April 2017. The reservation process was easy and the app was great to have information quickly. The service that they provided was quick and responsive. The unit was nice and pretty clean. The beds and couch were probably the most uncomfortable that Ive experienced in a while. They are quite awful and should be replaced. The location of the complex in relation to stores, beach, and other experiences is great. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance as well as the pier. The beach was great. The two chairs and umbrella at the beach is great. I would recommend asking the beach attendants to set you something up on the day you arrive so that they are set up the next morning. The complex pool, bathroom is nice and they have a community pool box with toys/floats for use. I would recommend the complex and unit if they update the bedding and couch. The internet service is also very spotty. It was difficult to get connected at all at times.

  We stayed June 25th - July 2nd and the couldn't ask for anything better. Our room was located on the 3rd floor with amazing views of the ocean & the pool was a stones throw away from our balcony. We often took the stairs instead of the elevator which was also conveniently located. The condo worked well with the open concept kitchen/dining/living room space. The property was very well maintained and the pool was attended to daily. The guys setting up the beach chairs daily worked really hard and were very friendly. We booked through Brooks and Shorey Resorts and they provided easy/quick check-in. Customer Service was spot on. We enjoyed every lunch and late evening on the balcony watching the waves crash. We were located within walking distance to the Pier/Boardwalk. We ate at the Boardwalk (Floyd's Shrimp House, Rockin Tacos, Anglers, & Crab Shack) and were NEVER disappointed. Our first night, we ate at AJ's Oyster Shanty and LOVED IT! Save your money on Dolphin cruises and just walk the pier. Many dolphins swimming around that area. It does cost $2 per person to walk the pier but this was well worth the money. A little boy caught a 20 pound white fish and we watched him and his dad pull it in off the pier. Very cool! We went to the movies on a cloudy day by the Santa Rosa Mall. We also traveled into Destin (15 minutes) and went to "The Track" and the "The Commons" (shopping area). We would HIGHLY recommend Brooks and Shorey Resorts and Summer Place to anyone looking for a relaxing time with lots of sunshine, fantastic views, great location, & amazing seafood.

    EXCELLENT! Thank you tremendously for the awesome review of this unit 302 at the SUMMERPLACE! The balcony in this three bedroom really is perfect size stretching in front of the MASTER BEDROOM as well as the LIVING ROOM. There exists no better place to enjoy a meal than on your very own private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This is what the beach is all about. Being able to all spend time together but have your own space for times when it's needed. You DO GET ONE BEACH SETUP FOR EVERY NIGHT OF YOUR RESERVATION. I hope you were able to take advantage of the complimentary setup every day, but then yes any extra chairs and umbrellas must be rented through the beach attendant. We appreciate your recommendation and we really hope to have you back to Okaloosa Island in the near future!

  Wonderful unit during June stay. First 3 bedroom unit we ever stayed in at Ft Walton Beach. Haven't visited FWB during the late spring-summer before. Though it was warm, we were able to enjoy comfortable weather on the balcony since it is shaded most of the time. When we first looked at the photos of the patio view I was worried that the Waterscape Condo building was obstructive but that wasn't the case and the close proximity to the pool was no issue either. We have 2 grown up daughters 18 and 24 with us and they enjoyed the condo and its location. We had a sink faucet in the master bath which wouldn't shut off after day 3. Called Brooks and Shorey and within 1 hour the problem was fixed. Condo was wonderfully decorated and very clean and well maintained. Plenty of nice dishes and the fastest toaster on FWB. Elevators seemed to be available with little or no wait. Stairs were close by. We used them more then the elevators. I carried my road bike up and down those stairs without any problem. Quick access to the Miracle Strip pkwy and short walk to the boardwalk and Gulfarium. Tom Thumb markets located at Miracle Strip Blvd or go left short way down Santa Rosa Blvd. Publix right over the bridge. Everything you need close by. Quick ride to Destin restaurants except on Friday nights. Enjoyed the great Sea Blaster dolphin sunset cruise. It was a blast even though we got soaked in a downpour at the end of the cruise. Always a memorable moment when things don't go as planned. We will definitely be returning to this unit or one of the many other Brooks and Shorey units. Thanks for the memories.

  The condo was for the most part awesome! One of the elevators was out though which was a little inconvenient. Also the electronic lock went out and the guys had to come out twice before it had to be changed. Also one of the bedrooms bathtub didn't drain very well. When I told the agency b4 we left I was told it had not been written down when we called the 2 nd day we were there. Other than that it was super clean and very comfy. We had 7 women and everyone had a great time there. We will definitely try to get the same condo next yr.

  We had the best time. The room were very comfortable and had lots of closet space as well dresser draws. Lots and lots of glass wear and plenty of dishes and utensils. The pool area was very clean, wish there were more umbrellas around it though. The ocean view was so beautiful it was breathtaking.
  
  I wish there was more porch furniture there was 7 of us and there was only one chair and one lounger, also a small hard bench. The kitchen chairs are in need of some new pads when you sat in them they sort of sunk in, it gave us a good laugh we are really easy and fun people. Otherwise we had no complaints.
  My family and I really enjoyed our stay we only wish that it could haave been longer.

  We had a great time at Summer Place 302. The large 3BR,3BA condo worked out wonderfully for us. It was very clean & nice decor, great staff,large deck with 2-pools, hot tub, and right on beach. Check in was very fast & only couple miles from Condo. Can't wait to go back.

  We had a few minor issues such as the screen on sliding door being torn, knob of master bath broken, electric socket on patio didn't work, light in extra bedroom kept tripping the breaker, and light bulb hanging from the fixture on the balcony. However, the issues were resolved quickly and professional. We would definitely use brooks and shorey for future vacations.

  I was very pleased with my stay at Summer Place. The location was very convenient to everything. The beach and pool were literally steps away from each other. We also enjoyed some of the local attractions like the Gulfarium, Big Kahuna water park, The Track, and the shopping outlets. We did have a problem with our wifi but a friendly maintenance guy was sent over within the hour and took care of it. The only downside was the on- site staff at Summer Place was not very friendly. We were never greeted at all. Just blank stares. Nobody ever said hi, welcome, or may I help or assist you with anything. On the other hand, the staff at Brooks and Shorey rental office were very cordial and helpful. I would definitely stay again and just close my eyes when I go by the on-site front desk! :-)

  My friends and I were very impressed with the condo. The rooms were well furnished and decorated, plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was better stoked than my own with every utensil imaginable! They even provided dish soap and dishwasher detergent, which I had not expected. Just a quick elevator ride to the pool and beach were the best part! My one and only gripe was that the hot tub closes at 10 an someone promptly came out and asked us to leave. I really don't see the need for that if we aren't being noisy or leavin trash around the pool deck. Other than that, our stay was perfect!

  The dryer took forever to dry laundry which was inconvenient. The unit appeared very clean for the most part, but noticed it was kind of grimy around the baseboards. The master bed was the least comfortable of all the condos we've stayed in, and the bed itself was not very sturdy. It was very squeaky. However, the other two bedrooms had very comfortable beds. The decor is attractive, but my daughter said it needs updating! Overall, it is a good place to stay. We would probably stay there again.

  The biggest issue we had were the dead fish on the beaches. This is the second vacation we have taken in 5 years at Oakaloosa Island and in both cases we had to deal with dead fish on the beaches. Other guest made the same comment so I do not believe we will be going back to this area on any more vacations. I do not believe it was just a coincidence that on two separate vacations 5 years apart that the beaches were full of dead fish. This must be a continuing problem.

  The beds were not that comfortable. It was questionable as to whether clean sheets were on the bed in the master bedroom. The man who walks the grounds at night was so very helpful. He was absolutely wonderful. The lady who sat at the desk in the daytime was just so so. The staff at the office where we checked in was very friendly. I think you need a check-out time of 11:00 instead of 10:00. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

  Stayed in Okaloosa Island for several years. This is the first time we tried a different condo and everything was just as we'd hoped!
  Brookes and Shorey Resorts was great at getting us in for just a couple days,on the way back from Disney World.
