The patio entrance is from the living room as well as the master bedroom. 42" LCD/HD TV in the living room. Gorgeous wooden table for 6 in the dining area where you have a DIRECT Gulf view. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner around this classy table while having the huge glass balcony doors provide you with the most incredible views. Enjoy family nights here in 5003, after a toasty, fun-filled day on the beach, you're guaranteed to be exhausted. There is a sectional in the living room for your enjoyment! Snuggle into this comfortable living room and turn on a movie, it won't take long for everyone to fall soundly asleep. Take advantage of the private GULF FRONT master bedroom by waking up at least once to watch a Florida sunrise from bed!! This is what relaxation is all about. Unit 5003 is a corner unit with no neighbors to the West, affording you extra serenity during Balcony time. Islander Beach Resorts have access to one of Okaloosa Island's largest gulf-side pools, a shuffleboard court, and a barbeque grill area. A quick stroll across the boardwalk puts you right on the beach! All guests have Free High-Speed Internet access in their unit, as well as wireless Internet access in our lobby.
Islander Beach Resort has a two vehicle limit.
The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

  Great condo and amenities for our family. Unfortunate construction maintenance taking place during busy season was LOUD and we were on the 5th floor! I can’t imagine what the lower floors dealt with. They should do this on off season. Otherwise, stay was great.

  Perfect space for the entire family. It is hard to find three full bathrooms and a space to have two bunkbeds that aren't crammed into a tiny space. Each room is generous in size, with plenty of chairs for the dining area and the living room. The Islander is our favorite place to visit on Okaloosa Island with a large pool and quieter beach area.

  This is our second year in This Excellent Condo on Okaloosa Island. The property is perfect for white sugar sand beach living with its gorgeous location on the Gulf. It is clean and we were so pleased with the upgrades made from last year. Thank you owners for the new couch - new dishwasher- new washing machine and many new pots and pans for cooking delightful Florida meals. Brooks and Shorey provide great service whenever we need anything. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a pleasant vacation experience.

  This is our 10th. Season spending quality time relaxing and rejuvenating down in FWB FL. We have enjoyed the last two years at excellent headquartersin the Islander 5003 very much. The property is clean and well maintained. We commend the owner for providing fine new washer and dishwasher and living room couch for convenience and comfort this winter. Brooks and Shorey have been very attentive to our needs while here Jan. Feb. And Mar. We have recommended them to other snowbirds for their great service. We are fortunate for restaurants close by like Stewbys fish house on Santa Rosa and German Wursthaus on Miracle Strip Pky. We love how close we are to First Baptist Church ⛪️ here worshiping with wonderful friends weekly.

  Overall, very enjoyable condo and experience . View was amazing and condo location was great! Having 3 bed and 3 bath was fantastic. Check-in and out were the easiest we’ve ever experienced. It was nice to have toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and starter bathroom toiletries supplied. The condo was clean. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Some suggestions...replace the living room furniture (well worn and uncomfortable), dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well (we tried a variety of settings), all of the bathroom mirrors are hung low (we had to bend down to see our full heads. We are tall, but not that tall 😊). We really enjoyed the Fort Walton area. Family friendly, great restaurants, not overly busy, clean beach! 👍��

  Like the complex and pool. Furniture a bit worn, a king bed in master instead of queen desirable -enough room there. Only had a couple small spoons, mostly tablespoons. We bought plastic utensils and paper plates. More extra pillows would be nice too. Enough towels enough for our larger group and overall pretty nice.

  The location of the rental was outstanding. View of the beach from the room was great. Enjoyed having a private bathroom with each bedroom. The furniture was a little outdated but adequate. The place was not clean as could be, we cleaned for a bit when we arrived. We were informed about the construction just a week or two before, it was all during the daytime and was just noisy. A large trash can was available to replace the chutes and emptied daily. Great location for the price. Still enjoyed the trip.

  We were pleasantly surprised to see how large and roomy this condo was and the kitchen well equipped. The location is perfect for relaxing and having able room on the beach. The pool is large enough to where you do not feel that you are swimming on top of each other. It was maintained quite well and always very clean. The property description was dead on. No surprises! Brooks and Shorey Resort Inc. were very easy to work with and answered any questions I had immediately. I would most definitely recommend this unit to friends and family and hope to rent this unit again soon. We ate most of our meals in the condo as there is a Publix grocery store around the corner which made for easy access to groceries. We did eat at AJ's on the Harbor Walk one afternoon and the food was very good. We did rent a boat and jet ski and spent the afternoon at Crab Island. The kids enjoyed the inflatables. The condo complex is very nice and comfortable.

  Vacation home was just like in the pictures and as described! It was very spacious and very clean. The rooms and separate bathrooms were definitely convenient and we each had our own privacy. The kitchen was FULLY stocked...we were not in need of a thing! We woke up every morning and drank our coffee while watching the dolphins, while sitting on our balcony! We did have one issue during the week, in the middle of doing a load of laundry the washer made this horrible squeaking. I called Brooks and shorey and they had someone out to repair it within 20 mins or less. I was concerned because we had a cruse that we were leaving for but the matinence man instead we get there on time and he would lock up when he finished the job. When we returned the washer was fixed and we went on with our vacation without a worry!!! This is our second time renting through Brooks and Shorey, first time in this condo, but I promise you that because of both stays we will definitely be back for our next vacation!

  We had an amazing week at Islander 5003. We were arriving the day tropical storm Alberto was hitting land. I called to find out if we would be able to make it. They were very friendly from the start and helpful in assessing the weather situation. Upon arrival everything was just as described. The unit was clean and plenty of room for my family. We didn't have any problems. The view is beautiful. We saw dolphins out the window playing in the water. The beach itself is just beautiful. They take pride in it and everyone picks up the trash. It was just what we wanted for our vacation. We will definitely be back.

  This condo has the perfect layout and it is so roomy and up-to-date. The ocean view is perfect and can be seen from the living room and kitchen, and the master bedroom which has its own sliding door and balcony entrance. The condo is equipped with everything you need except food and laundry detergent. If you have a long stay you may run out of the the complimentary items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and dish washer detergent but what they provide lasts a while. Another huge plus is the "free" amenities included and to highlight some there is 1 umbrella and 2 chairs daily provided free for each day of your stay, DVD movie rentals, and more.

  What I would like to see is some form of policy that controls the carts used by the guest. On fridays some guest store the carts in thier rooms. On Saturday morning when guest are trying to depart no carts are available.
  Maybe a cart deposit, if a guest is caught with a cart in the room, the deposit is not returned. I have been coming to the islander for 12 years and the problem has only gotten worse.

  Condo was exactly as pictured. The view from the balcony was the best. Booking was so fast and easy and the ladies were so easy to talk to. The dishwasher was broken and we didn't realize this until after we had loaded it the night before we were to leave. Beds were comfy as well as the living room and enough room to sit comfortably. Just wish they had offered more beach chairs, floating rafts etc in the unit for guests. We found a small chir that was in the balcony but it has had better days. Overall was a great stay even with Hurricane Hermine

Grown son, folks, and a grandma enjoyed the luxury & space all week; nice high 5th floor for dolphin spotting when the surf was calm (2 days), really nice, solid furnishings, microfiber couches were clean, just a great experience. Kitchen was decently stocked w/ pans/glasses, bed linens were good quality, beds were comfortable. Couldn't have gone better for us.

  Great layout of rooms. Three bathrooms a plus. Very roomy for the 5 of us. Furniture comfortable. Bed I slept in 1st class. No real complaints, however I would suggest patching small holes in two of bathrooms, possibly upgrading the microwave, and change out some of the decor to look more like the beach. Also please include manual can opener. the electric one is hard to use. In summary I would stay there again. Very quite no noise from other tenants. Best beach I've stayed out anywhere in Florida Panhandle. Clean and deep sand.

  Our experience staying in Fort Walton Beach is always so good. We have stayed in several different condos and all are very nice with a perfect view of the beautiful beach. Our only complaint is that for a 3 bedroom condo we only get 2 chairs and 1 umbrella and to get extra it is $30 per day. It gets expensive to rent chairs and umbrellas for everyone.

  we arrived early and could not get in room till exactly 4:00. although that is check in sometimes you can get in early if the room has been checked. keep that in mind while traveling. the room was great. ample room for 2 familys and nice furniture. the balcony was a large size. the pool was not warm until the last day we were there even though it is suppossed to be heated, FYI for small children.
  we had more than enough towels and dishes. this was our first trip to Okaloosa so we were not aware of the "no personal items left on beach at night". this was sort of a hassle to lug all your stuff down and back up every day. but on the upside the beach was not littered with tents and toys all week. we absolutley loved our stay. the water is beautiful and the sand was perfect. i would reccommned this unit to anyone! thanks

Saturdays are our busiest days and we do have a lot of turn-around so it's not advised to show up early, especially if the condo is occupied the night before.   this condo was perfect. we felt at home. all furnishings were nice and very clean. the kitchen was well stocked. the balcony was large (though some of the chairs need replacing) and the unit itself was very spacious. the pool was nice and clean, the beach a few steps away and the property itself was family oriented and not overcrowded. we would definetely book this unit again.

  We enjoyed our stay, but were very frustrated to find the heater in the swimming pool was broken and no intent to repair it at this time. We ended up taking our grandchildren to other hotels in the area to swim. They loved the beach of course, but kids also love swimming pools. Also the beds were small and not comfortable.

    Thank you for your review. We do apologize for the inconvenience with the pool heater. Unfortunately when the heater went out the parts would take a week to be delivered. Since your departure the heater has been replaced and is now working. We do hope to see you again and possibly try out another one of our properties.

  My family and I stayed over the Thanksgiving week and had a quiet and relaxing time. The view from the living room and master bedroom was fantastic. Over all we were pleased with the condo. We stayed during the slow season so we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. Quiet area and close to Destin. We plan on returning in the future.

  We really enjoyed the condo. Decorated great, nice location, friendly staff. The only negative comment was the cleaners. There was noticeable mold in the master tub and the master duvet was horribly stained. Everything else was great.

  The people who stayed in the condo above us were super loud, even after we called management, they were just ridiculously loud. Didn't like that you have to drive down the street to rent the DVD's that are included with the stay, to offer free DVD rental would mean the DVD kiosk is in your Hotel. The room had barely enough plates and bowls for the amount of people allowed to stay in the room, not enough cups. You literally have to was dishes everyday.

  This is our third year renting from Brooks and Shorey and staying at the Islander. We love both!! This condo was very nice, comfortable and clean. Only had two problems, the overhead light in the room with two full size beds didn't work, there is a table lamp so it wasn't that big of a deal. The internet and phone weren't working the first night, but they had us up and going the very next morning. I would also like to say thank you to Rob from maintenance with Brooks and Shorey, we appreciate your going above and beyond for our internet needs!! The only suggestion I have for this unit is bar height furniture for the patio. We didn't care for the normal height furniture, although it was very nice, the view while on the balcony is through the railings.

  The condo is very functional. It is situated in a very good neighbourhood, the view is great and kitchenware and everything is very good.   This has been our family destination for four years and counting. We love the family centered environment and the lack of rowdiness that you get in so many other beach locations. The staff has always been so wonderful and when we got married here two years ago they even made sure that we had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived. I can't imagine beach vacation anywhere else. The accomodations are always lovely, the beach is amazing the the overall area gets better every year. Excellent, excellent, excellent.

  Drove to Florida with the family and our nieces. Everything was perfect for a family vacation. You could see the kids in the pool and spot your friends on the beach right from your balcony. Having the pool on the ocean side of the building was a huge plus; most of the others on this island are by the parking lot. I noticed there was a volleyball net a few buildings was on an angle which was awkward. I wish they would put a level volleyball court on this property, then it would be perfect :)
