This One bedroom condo is a delightful little gem, it has a large master bedroom with access to the dual entry 1 and a half bath, there is a stackable washer an dryer located in the condo as well. The cozy living area has plenty of seating for everyone in your party, the fully stocked kitchen is a perfect set up for those that enjoy cooking and the private balcony overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico provides a view that cannot be matched. If you are looking for relaxation this is the condo for you.

Gulf Dunes Condominiums is close to Fort Walton’s shopping and dining and a mere ten minutes from Destin. Stroll along the beach to the Okaloosa fishing pier or Boardwalk.   The view and the beach access are fabulous! The king mattress is very comfortable, and it was very convenient to have the washer:dryer in the condo. Some minor maintenance issues. Paint was peeling off some woodwork. Kitchen was sparsely supplied. We had to buy a fry pan & normal sized spatula. Nit-picks aside, it was a wonderful experience!

  Great location and love the quick beach access. The condo was not quite as clean as we would have liked when we got there. Dust and slightly dirty counters when we got there, but over all it was perfect for our little get away! We had an issue with the Wifi - it was connected to a light switch, which we accidentally turned off. We reached out to the customer service on the app and got a quick response on how to fix it.

  Place was fine. A little dated. Bedroom mattress is very hard. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen are peeling. There were some lights that were burned out. The bunks (not y’all’s fault) were hard to climb in because of the round rungs. it was a functional place and convenient otherwise.

They could put the condo numbers on the chairs if requested. I was also not a fan of the shower curtain. It needs to be updated to doors.

  Condo was in a good location . Pictures show it to be a bit more updated then it is . Carpet in bedroom is pretty worn , tub wouldn’t drain , paint has scruffs in several places and kitchen cabinets have pretty big spots of
  Paint missing . Master bed is very firm so if you prefer a softer bed it’s not for you . You will need to bring or pick up everything such as toilet paper, salt and pepper, cooking spray , laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, hand soaps, etc . Overall stay was comfortable but will look for something more updated for the price next year .

  The property is in a nice location with a few restaurants and an ice cream shop across the street. The pier is a 10 minute walk down the beach with additional restaurants. The unit was clean. It was a bit dated but it looked like they were making updates. The pool furniture in particular stuck out as needing immediate replacement but we didn’t spend a lot of time there.

  Had a great time, the free beach chair and umbrellas was a great extra, along with the 2 free movies per night. We were right on the beach which had an awesome view!! The front office staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and private. There are only a few things that were not quite up to my expectations. The rug in the living room and the carpet in the bedroom were dingy and dirty looking. The hot water tank is entirely to. Small for 2 people to take a shower back to back. The shower curtain needs to be a heavier material so you can shower with the curtain attached to your skin. These are really minor things but could be remedied fairly easy. The last thing was the construction that was being done on the balconies, I was told about the construction 1-2 weeks prior to coming and was compensated a small amount for the inconvenience, however, this caused us to have to walk a lot further to get back to the hotel from the beach. Overall I loved this vacation and I will be back!!!!

  Loved the place but not the tropical storm that ran us away. Tropical storm "Cindy" arrived on Wednesday and sent us to Tennessee. On the way there we seen warnings and Alabama had a state of emergency. I guess its in your policy for no refunds but my wife and I thought it was crazy they told us sorry not their fault about the weather and told us to stick it out. We are not sacrificing our kids lifes and our own for your business. At Tennessee we spoke to other families that had to flee up north and they informed us about how they got refunded due to "Cindy" and was further way from the storm. We informed them about the response we got from you and everyone thinks that was crazy. With that being said we will be looking for another company to stay with that cares for my families safety and will treat us fairly.

    Oh we are so disappointed to hear such negative feedback from what Mother Nature had presented us recently, unfortunately we did have some weather from Cindy, BUT honestly there was never a warning or a watch put through for our area. It was only rain in our part of Florida and we wish you would've stayed through your reserved time because it got very very pretty on that Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately we cannot control the weather and have no way to compensate for rain but there was never any sort of warning or watch put out for us for your travel time so we wish you would've stayed. Honestly there was never any safety issues from the weather here in Fort Walton Beach even on Okaloosa Island, so we wish you would reconsider your viewpoint on Brooks and Shorey Resorts as again we want to stress there was only rain during your travel time. Thank you for staying with us and we hope you visit the Gulf Coast again soon as you and your family can!

March is a great time of year down here and this winter was so nice it was very very pleasant in regards to weather.   Usually we go to Golf Dunes in March for a break from winter but the farm harvest finished early and we were headed south for a family wedding. Mary Ann and the staff were very helpful in finding us a condo at the last minute. We loved 207 and would stay again anytime.   Our first vacation with our 2yr old was a success. The woman who checked us in and checked us out was very nice and helpful. I wish I knew her name. But we enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn't like was having glass table tops. Which isn't ideal for families with young kids staying there. Even the guys who works the beach service was friendly. They took their time talking to guests, asking where they're from and telling us to enjoy our stay. They really took care of the guests also.
  I would DEFINITELY recommend my friends and family to stay here.

  Great view, saw a dolphin swimming from our balcony 1 morning. Great location, able to walk down the beach to the fishing pier and boardwalk. Within 1 mile of grocery n convenient stores n souvenir shops. Kids loved the free movie rentals (new movies). Can't go wrong staying here. Was planning on going in to destin for a day but never made it past the fishing pier...too much fun. Only bad thing was shower didn't drain too well..

  The Condo was a cool,clean place to come back to at the end of days on the beach. The Master Bed Mattress had a very distinct dip on the right side.   Front desk staff was wonderful and very friendly. Condo was a bit smaller than expected (pictures on website made it seem a little bigger) but it was fine for our needs. I moved the pillows on the couch to sit and had to wipe sand off the couch first. Then when we pulled the couch/bed out the first night, we had to wipe sand off that mattress too. It wasn't a big enough deal to complain about--as sand is to be expected while at the beach--but I also would've expected the sand from the previous renters to be cleaned up before we got in there. Beach service and access was wonderful. Not too crowded. Short drive to good restaurants and/or Destin Harborwalk. Didn't have time to rent any of the free movies but we did use one of the complimentary passes for the Sea Blaster--and we LOVED that! Overall, good times and good stay.

A better recliner and more than six dinner plates would be a nice upgrade, but all in all, this unit was quite nice.   We loved our stay in GD 207. It was very, very clean and the location was perfect! My kids loved the bunk beds and the king bed was wonderful! The fold out couch would probably be comfortable for kids but wouldn't work for adults. The layout was perfect.
  Certain things I just assumed would be there like paper towels or hand soap but they werent-which was no biggie. We also loved the pool and pool area. Perfect! This is a fantastic condo- I could stay there every year!

  The bed was probably the worse I have ever been on! It does not matter how nice a place is if you can't sleep because of the bed. That is where you need to invest money. It was hard as a rock and so I could never get comfortable.
