  Condo was acceptable clean upon arrival, walking in we found a child's sock under the edge of bunk beds in h
  the hallway! Condo had an overall smell of staleness made us think it was not cleaned just straightened up. Refrigerator had problems with ice maker, ice would not drop ice, but we just reached in and got ice rather than bother anyone on a holiday weekend.
  We enjoyed the fireworks from the balcony as well as dolphins everyday overall yes we would stay in this condo again.

  My wife and I have been coming down to the Panhandle for over 30 years and I will say that this condo was one of the best condos we had ever stayed in. First, Brooks and Shorey was always very professional and helpful from the time we made reservations all the way to the end of our trip. Second, the condo was very clean (base boards needed dusting/cleaning) and the kitchen had all that one would need to cook except a cutting board. The beds were comfy, bathrooms nice, family room great but the balcony was the true star of this unit! Morning, afternoon and evening you could fully enjoy this balcony. The views were outstanding from east to west! I would recommend staying at this condo Unit 401 with Brooks and Shorey. I assure you the condo and the resort company will not disappoint.

  This unit had all that was needed to prep & cook a meal. The master was great with the hand held shower head and jet tub. However the living room/dining area was not very family friendly at all. The space was cramped and the tables were too large for the space. If people sat at the table others could watch TV. Dining table was so big we couldn't even reach cards in the middle. The furniture could definitely be updated to something more cohesive.

  We have stayed at Pelican Isle for many years. We could not ask for a better location. PI401 is a nice unit. It was clean, nicely decorated, had plenty of dishes and towels. We did experience refrigerator issues several times during our stay. The staff that came to diagnose the problems were very friendly and knowledgeable. Apparently this was not the first time this frig had issues. The only other issue is that, by design, the master bedroom stays HOT. You have to freeze out the front of the condo (blankets and sweatshirts) to even be able to almost comfortably sleep. There is a fan in the closet for a reason. This does not just apply to PI401. We have stayed in 501 for many years and have the same issue. There is no crockpot, so bring one from home. Would we stay in this unit again? Definitely. The refrigerator hopefully has been repaired and the hot bedroom can't be resolved.

  Nice Place, lots a room for our family of 4. We had a few problems, but were COVID/Hurricane Related. Hot tub was closed (COVID). Walk through to pool and fitness center was closed. (Recent Hurricane damage). Also the master bedroom closet smell horrid. (Mildew/Mold). This was most likely due to the 2 hurricanes of recent weeks. We just kept the door closed and put our items in other closet. We like staying down here because the beach isn't as crowded.

  It was a pleasure dealing with Brooks and Shorey Resorts. They will be my first contact when I schedule another vacation. Condo #401 at Pelican Isle is the perfect place to stay at Ft Walton Beach. The condo was very nice, very clean, and very comfortable. This is perfect for older and younger vacationers. I love sitting on the balcony, drinking my coffee, while picking out which loungers and umbrella I'll use today, or seeing how many people are at the pool, or in the hot tub, before I go there. The view is wonderful and if you are an early riser, you can enjoy seeing the dolphins in the ocean. Fantastic eating places and entertainment very close by. Endless things to do. Also, not as much traffic on Okaloosa Island.

  We had an awesome Spring Break in PI401! Condo was very clean, up to date, and right on the Beach!!! Used the free boat ride coupon which came with the condo, highly recommend the doing the Sunset Boat Ride. We will definitely look to see if PI 401 is available for our next beach vacation.

  The vacation was really good and we very much enjoyed the condo and really loved the set up of the condo. The condo was furnished very nicely and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of nice plates, cups, silverware and storage containers. The only real negative of the condo was it was not very clean. We stayed in the condo with our small children and their feet and knees were very dirty from crawling on the floor. Socks and pants were very dirty, looked as if they had been crawling or walking outside. Also, we ended up vacuuming the living room area ourselves the second day because there was a lot of crumbs and dirt around the couch and under the chairs. Overall, not a huge deal, but that part was a little disappointing and would probably recommend talking to the cleaning company about it. Would still stay in that condo again because the set up was perfect and loved the wrap around balcony.

    We certainly love seeing you at the Pelican Isle condominiums every time! This is an awesome unit, I personally love it. The corner location in the building affords you privacy and peacefulness. You don't have to worry with elevator noise or pool noise from this condo. It has everything from the master bedroom balcony to the private TV's on each bunk bed in the hall, so everyone has everything they need to be comfortable. There's absolutely nothing like waking up to the Gulf of Mexico.   This is a great condo that advertises it sleeps 8. It does, but it only seats 3 in the living room and 7 at the table and bar combined. So, it's perfect for a couple with a child or two. Also, the dryer wasn't working good. It took several hours to dry a load of clothes. We really enjoyed it overall, though.

This is a GREAT two bedroom two bath corner condo at the Pelican Isle and I'm so glad you were able to enjoy. It's is the best location in the building, no neighbors on one side to worry with and being close to the staircase allows quick access to the condo! Thank you for pointing out the dryer being a bit slow. At this point, the dryer vents were cleaned and sanitized at the very beginning of December. There have been no other issues brought to our attention with the dryer. We have taken your comments and are prepared to update as soon as another complaint comes through-so far everything works well and the current guests have NOT experienced this same thing. Thank you again for letting us know we appreciate the feedback! Thank you again for staying with us, we sure hope you come back again to Pelican Isle paradise is always awaiting!

  we had a wonderful week at Pelican Isle. If there was anything I would complain about it would be the second bedroom bed. It was a double and would be ok for children but not adults. We also needed some instructions for the televisions and a channel line-up. There were no kitchen towels or cloths.

  This is our first time to visit Fort Walton area and we fell in love with the area. The condo we choose suited our needs and more. Very clean, beds were comfortable, it had plenty of kitchen supplies in fact we ate in several meals and I had everything I need to prepare meals example: pot, dishes, cutery etc.
  I guess the only complaint I have is the workout area only had 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical in there, I was hoping for more since several of us exercise daily or try to. I would definitely recommend this condo and I would definitely consider renting it again in the future.

  The Condo and View were better than the photos !!! The master BR /bath had a Jacuzzi tub . A welcome surprise to us ! A couple on our last cruise told us that the Panhandle of FL had white sandy beaches like the Cayman Islands. They were right !! Every morning & all day we had an unobstructed view of the beach. We always look for a pool & hot tub. Pelican Isle have both. We had great customer service & would recommend this property to others. We might be a little selfish with the exact condo as we had the corner unit. B &S have some perks. We went on a sunset dolphin cruise with Destin SNOKEL, and loved it so we booked a Snorkel 3 stop cruise 2 days later. B & S offers one free trip. We snorkeled , Kayaked, shelling and Dolphin watching. The crew was very experienced & family friendly. No party goers on this cruise ! Soda & water provided and you can take your own lunch. We had a wonderful time!!!! We had bad experience with snorkeling in the past at 3 different places. I ( VICKI) have severe motion sickness. The Reef Runner was like a giant pontoon boat . a very smooth ride. I also took my motion sickness meds to be safe.
  My Husband & I will definitely return ! This is a great time of year as children return to school , so not very crowded. Our Favorite food: Bubba Gump's fish & Chips, in Destin, The Crab Trap, Okaloosa Is.& A Greek restaurant in Shamar.

  We were skeptical. But it is everything you could want in a vacation rental. With free golf & movie rentals we thought there would be something wrong. But there wasn't. Great location, great condo & clean. The golf was easy to book & it was a nice course. Movie rentals were on the property with no limit and plenty of titles. We were so please we stayed two extra days. The staff is GREAT. On site management is a big plus! We loved having a corner unit. The master suite had sliding was wonderful to sleep with the sound of the ocean. Just writing this makes me sad that were aren't still there! Thank you!

  This condo is an excellent end unit that has a wrap around balcony. The view is magnificent. The furnishings are wonderful, except the master bed is extremely soft.   I stayed in your rental unit and could not have been more pleased with the location, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and beauty of the beach. The chair and umbrella set-up every day is a big plus!!!   Our room 401 at pelican isle was just perfect,we had plenty of room for everyone,it was extermely clean had all the amenities in the kitchen so you didnt have have to eat out every day.Had a beautiful view from the living room and kitchen.we loved it we would for sure stay again. Loved the tvs on tbe bunkbeds.

  Absolutely outstanding. Great location, great condo (pelican Isle 401. Very clean. Only negative was when we ordered Pizza to be delivered and it took 1 and 1/2 hours and they would not give us the 15% Brooks/Shorey discount as advertised in the room

  The location and property were beautiful. The condo had everything that we needed to be comfortable. The furnishings were very nice. Barbara, at the check-in desk was so kind and helpful. We will stay there again, on our next visit to Ft. Walton Beach and Destin.

  We had a wonderful time at Pelican Isle. Our condominium was perfect: Spotlessly clean with everything we needed at hand. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, cooking items, etc. Any concern we had was taken care of immediately by the management staff. ex: wi-fi wasn't working---was fixed quickly by very friendly staff. The beds were comfortable; there were games, books and DVDs in the livingroom cabinet; lots of TVs. Best of all was the beach and water! Our view from the balcony was lovely! Uncrowded beach with plenty of chairs/umbrellas. Would definitely book this one again.
