  We stayed here the last two weeks of February. The unit was comfortable, clean and quiet. The view of the gulf was incredible! We did not use the bunk beds or pull out couch, but enjoyed each having our own full bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything needed. It would be nice to have a few hooks on the wall throughout the whole place, but overall we were very comfortable. The pools were very clean, plenty of lounge chairs. Easy access to the beach with nice showers to wash sand off. B & S were very attentive to our needs and pleasant to work with. Great place to stay!

The unit itself was very clean and nicely decorated! My son loved the TV's in the bunk beds! The only con for me was the Master bed was not firm enough for my liking but that is a personal preference. I will definitely book this unit again!

  The only complaint I have about this property is that the patio does not have counter height furniture. This makes it difficult to sit and enjoy the view. The interior furniture, layout and quality was lovely. The location was incredibly convenient. The kitchen had the pans and utensils that we needed. Upon entry the condo was well cleaned. We did have to wait an extra 3 hours to get checked in, which was very inconvenient, but once we got in we had a great time.

  The experience was wonderful. It was easy to finalize everything. The room was just as it was described plus more than I expected. I did rent from a 3rd party sight and wish I would have rented directly from Brooks and Shorey. Every person I spoke to was very helpful and friendly. I wasn't told about the different codes to get in everywhere, but as soon as I followed directions and downloaded the app, I found them all just fine. We had a great time and it was super easy to check in and out. The bed was very comfortable. The TV's on the bunk were a great addition. Alexa in the room was a nice feature. The TV was exceptional and we were able to use our Disney+ and VUDU accounts easily without dragging movie with us. Lots of storage space. We were very comfortable with a family of 5. My older son could have even brought a friend and we would have had enough space. The pool is amazing. It was the best pool we saw while walking on the beach. Several families could use it while still feeling away from each other. The shared facilities were very clean and well kept. They were vacuuming rugs and cleaning elevators, walk ways, ect. all of the time. The only thing I did not care for was the portion in the rental agreement stating they can move you to any room. I spoke to a representative and understood that it would only happen IF the property became uninhabitable. In my opinion, it should state that in the contract. I have had to change after driving 18 hours, because an owner double booked the property. The contract shouldn't be so vague in describing reasons for a move. This was a great experience!

The property itself is kept very clean including boardwalk, pool etc. Beach service was outstanding!! The unit was actually ready several hours ahead of time and I greatly appreciated the call and opportunity to check in and unload before heading out to the beach when we arrived. The shower faucet in the main bath didn’t turn off completely and continually dripped but hopefully that will be repaired.

Waters Edge building is a great one in that it has a huge pool and half is heated. Unit had great extensive supply of dishes. We are only a minute or two down Hwy 98 from the Island, we hope this helps you keep a positive outlook on our check-in procedures and thank you for your kind remarks. Waters Edge property is located perfectly in the middle of OKaloosa Island, making it easy and quick to get coffee and the paper at the neighboring Tom Thumb convenience store. The owners of this condo are awesome and they love updating and keeping all guests happy. All new appliances now fill the kitchen and it honestly gives it the perfect updated feel.   WATERS EDGE 507 HAD EVERYTHING WE COULD ASK FOR. WE HAD A GRAT TIME ON THE BEACH AND THE GUYS WHO SAT THE CHAIRS AND UMBRELLAS UP DAILY WERE EXTREMELY NICE. THE STAFF AT THE DESK WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. WE LOOK FORWARD TO COMING BACK WITH OUR FAMILY. THE GYM IS THE ONLY THING THAT COULD USE MORE EQUIPMENT SUCH AS WEIGHTS AND ETC.

  This condo exceeded by expectations, they really thought of everything. The room had everything we needed and then some. The view was unbelievable and the resort was so comfy. It was great to be away from the overcrowded beaches in Destin, but still within 5 minutes so we could enjoy what Destin had to offer. I recommend this condo or any that Brooks and Shorey manages in Ft Walton. You will not be disappointed.

  We had a wonderful time here. The layout of this condo was perfect for my family! The only issue was that we decided prior to our arrival someone must have had possibly an animal of sorts inside. There was NO odor or anything like that. Just Mine and my son's allergies went bizerk the first night and that following day. They cleared up after that and all was well. The place was clean, very nice!

  My husband & I stayed for 6 nights in Sept. First vacation in many years! We had never done a condo rental before so this was a new experience for us and we were not disappointed. This condo at Waters Edge is very nice, really cute, and has beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. A couple very minor issues (light bulbs burnt out, no dishwasher detergent) were promptly taken care of by the mgmnt company. The folks @ Brooks & Shorey were extremely nice and helpful answering my many questions when I initially called for information about the condo rental process to recommending restaurants when we arrived. We definitely had a positive experience and would not hesitate to come back for another stay in the future.

  Just a few days on the beach before fall & winter take over in Ohio. The views from the balcony were great. Location was very good. The condo was "cozy" for the two of us, but I wouldn't want to share the space with more people.

  Was a nice quite place to stay. Very clean. The pools were great and the walk to the beach was very short. The balcony on the 5 th floor was perfect. The location is perfect if you don't like a busy beach. Perfect for kids.

  Very pleased with this condo,except I would recommend installing more towel bars. It was some what aggravating to not be able to hang up a wet bath towel. Kitchen was well stocked with glasses and utensils. The view of the ocean was just BEAUTIFUL!!!

  Perfect rental for our family of 2 adults, 1 teen and 1 child! The view was perfect, right in front of the beach! When there was too much seaweed on shore, we hit the pool and it was beautiful and clean. The perfect place for families. Everything was in working order, except for the key pad code. Somehow it got changed during our stay, but the management got right back to me with the correct code. The beach was beautiful, the room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay!   It was great! I love the high ceilings so that my child that sleeps in the top bunk isn't hitting the ceiling. My kids also loved the TV's in the bunks. I would like to have had a larger washer. The one in the unit is small and doesn't hold many large beach towels.
