It is a 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom eastside corner unit located right on the beach with phenomenal full gulf front views. Come enjoy the sugary white sand and the sparkling blue waters that our unspoiled and uncrowded beach has to offer. This condo has new owners and all furniture has been replaced, it has stainless steel appliances and the entire condo has been painted. The kitchen is fully equipped with all brand new appliances and stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to cook up a feast for your entire group. This kitchen even has a Keurig, a crock pot, and Hot Air Popcorn popper.

The sleeping arrangements in this unit are as follows: master bedroom - 1 king bed, 2nd bedroom - 1 king bed, 3rd bedroom - 2 full beds. Queen seeper sofa in the living room. This unit sleeps 8.

  The condo was lovely and we enjoyed it immensely! It was clean and very well stocked. The balcony was wonderful! We sat out every morning drinking our coffee and people watching! It was perfect!! We enjoyed that it was an end unit and was a very short walk to the beach! The beds were not the most comfortable but we still slept great!!
  The only complaint I have is that the water pressure in the master bath sinks was very poor but we overlooked that because the master bath itself is to die for!! My daughter showered in there instead of the bathroom attached to her bedroom. Overall we had an excellent week and would definitely go back to Gulf Dunes Unit 301!!!

It was clean and no sand on the floor when we got there. There was plenty of utensils and pans in the kitchen for what we needed. The property was kept clean.

  We had a wonderful getaway thanks to this gem of a condo! It has some of the best views, it's kitchen was well stocked! (minus 3 little things - dishwashing soap, sponge, & paper towels), they did bring us paper towels. The pool close to us was closed but not a big deal, we came for the beach. Bedrooms have all that you need and it was nice to have 3 bathrooms. None of the bathrooms had shampoo or conditioner and no hair dryers, so be sure to bring your own. We had a small issue with the sheets in the master bedroom, but housekeeping came right away and put new sheets on the bed. This condo comes with two chairs and and umbrella which was very nice too. We will definitely rent this unit again. If you like donuts, check out Okaloosa Donuts or Parlor Donuts. Maybe even next Mothers's Day.

  We absolutely loved our vacation!!! The condo at Gulf Dunes was great!!! It was super clean, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (and some things we didn’t even need)! It is decorated so cute on the inside, I loved the beach colors and decor! The beds were super comfortable and even the pull out couch was comfortable (which you hardly ever can say)! We loved staying here and will definitely be back in the future!
  As far as location, we loved where it was! It was in close proximity to anything that we wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to try! The beach wasn’t as busy or crowded, prob because these condos seem to be more privately owned. We loved having the umbrella and chairs on the beach every day, we did rent an additional one though since our party was larger, so that everyone would be comfortable while on the beach! I would highly recommend this property to all of my friends!!!!

  I’ve stayed in this unit several times because I love the view and location. The LR furniture was replaced since last time so that was helpful. I was disappointed with the cookware. The skillets were very old and need replacing and there weren’t very many pots and pans. I don’t remember it being like that last time. We kept our meals simple and managed just fine.

  There were four of us, including one slightly handicap senior. It was perfect for everyone. oceanfront, everyone had their own bathroom, easy beach access and very accommodating beach umbrella and chair person, nice living room to enjoy the complementary DVDs, not to mention the covered, assigned, parking space!   Loved it. Great view. Convenient 4 digit combo lock. (No worries about losing keys.) Kitchen outfitted with most of what you need from glasses and plates, to pans and corkscrews. Sliding screen door did not work very well, so we left it open most of the time. I would stay there again. I should mention the WiFi did not work. However, we used the WiFi from GD401 above us, as more of my family was staying there. It worked fine. I assume that was a temporary problem and is now fixed.

  We had a great time in Destin and our condo was great. Our only problem was for most of the week we couldn't get in the ocean. It was very disappointing. We were looking forward to beautiful water and found dead fish (hundreds) and dark green seaweed water. For the first 2 days there were dead fish with no eyeballs all over the beach and in the water then that started clearing up. There was one day where we only had a little seaweed stuff so we could get in. The rest of the time we just had to get in the green seaweed water and then try to wash it out of our bathing suits later. We drove into Destin and went to a public beach one day and it was beautiful!! We ended up renting waverunners 2 different days and a pontoon boat so we could atleast enjoy the water. The condo's WIFI didn't work so that was frustrating too and the lady said she would send someone to fix it but she said the guy hadn't come by that week so we had to try to get some signal off of someone else's which was intermittent. Our condo rooms were clean and nice and was easy to park and get in and out of the road. We probably would stay more towards Destin next time if we give it another chance.

As for the Gulf of Mexico - unfortunately, the week of the 4th the water was not nice at all. However, that is something that is out of our control and the water conditions depend on the weather, the tides and well...Mother Nature. Glad you found a cleaner beach in Destin and got to enjoy more of the Gulf. The water conditions really do change and you just never know what area will be the cleanest but normally the Okaloosa Island is beautiful! It's just a bummer that the busiest week of the year did not work out as we all would have wished. This does not mean that the water conditions in Fort Walton are always bad, it was just a bad week.

  My husband, daughter, three teenage grandchildren, and I came to Fort Walton for our granddaughter's cheerleading competition. A friend recommended that we stay at Gulf Dunes. Best recommendation we have ever received. It was all good!
