The pool is a great size, located on the beach side and heated in the winter months. The property has free parking and BBQ grills. This condo is beautifully decorated and very well stocked! The master bedroom has a king size bed and it is BEACH FRONT with an entry to the beach front balcony. A 40" LED TV in the master bedroom for your entertainment and a Bose radio/CD player. The beach front living room has a brand new sofa, plenty of comfortable seating and a 47" flat screen TV. The guest bedroom features a Queen size bed and a 36" LED flat screen TV. All rooms have amazing décor including the bathrooms with hard wood flooring throughout the bedrooms. The kitchen is very spacious with granite counter tops including the island, all major appliances and EVERYTHING you might need to prepare a delicious meal for your loved ones. Very well stocked!!! Let's not forget the unbelievable views from the 5th floor! As soon as you walk into this prime condo, an amazing view will greet you! Once you walk out on the beach front balcony, you will never want to leave. Balcony has high-end comfortable furniture so you can relax and enjoy PARADISE.

We decided to extend our stay last minute so they were able to put us in another location, during the "moving" process, we forgot a bag of brand new shirts and they actually called us to let us know that they were going to leave it in our new room. You don't find service like that anymore. We were more than pleased with our overall experience and plan to go back.

Great view and condo was very nice and clean. Shower door is very heavy. and closes with a lot of hanging weight. Might consider putting slow close hinges or some type of foam/rubber gasket where it meets. My husband mashed his finger in it the first night. Otherwise enjoyed very much.

This was our second visit to Summerlin 502 during tbe week after Christmas. We enjoyed the views and the condo is very nice. However on the 3rd day of our visit there was a jackhammer drilling tile floors. It vibrated the entire facility and was so loud than when I called Brooks and Shorey they could not hear some of our conversation. They said it was off season and these renovations were normal. The agent also said they woud move us but they were full. When I asked for options we were given the number of the association manager. Long story short we talked with the condo manager and they had it stopped. We should have been at advised this could happen.

We stayed 4 nights at Summerlin 502. The condo was very clean and nicely furnished and had a great view of the gulf. And, the unit was very clean. We spent a lot of time on the balcony that was nicely equipped with tall chairs. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing we didn't care for was the furniture in the living room. The couch and chairs all had long seats. Not very comfortable for those folks who aren't tall. Overall, we recommend Summerlin 502! We had a great vacation!

Property is well situated amongst attractions and restaurants. There is a short dune crossing adjacent to the building and only a few steps to the beach. The unit itself provides a fantastic view of the gulf and white sand beach. It has a large master suite with gulf view. Accommodations are have been updated. With new appliances. The unit is expertly cleaned and maintained. Parking lot beside building has large spaces and no long walks to the entrance. The owners and management clearly care for this unit and the guests who utilize it. Checking in and out was simple and convenient.

Brooks and Shorey gave us a 10% discount for being returning guests, so the condo rental was cheaper than any other format we searched. They were always polite and helpful in our dealings with them. Summerlin has the best beach on the Island in that there is plenty of room on the beach, the free umbrellas and chairs are well spaced out. In 502, the appliances are modern and work well. The furniture is comfortable. Having one walk-in shower is also a plus. Two caveats: the mattress in the big bedroom is very soft and mushy, hard on a person's back. In the small bath shower, the plastic liner flows in against one's body when the shower is going. Very annoying. We solved it with a cheap, straight shower rod on the bottom. That's about it. Everything else is fine. Great views and just a few steps to the beach. We recommend 502.

We couldn't have been any happier with our experience renting this condo through Brooks and Shorey. The condo was as pictured, beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was nice having a second bathroom. The balcony was larger than in most condos where we've stayed. One suggestion for the Summerlin resort is that they upgrade their grills - they are the old park style charcoal grills that have become rusted and are unusable. Overall, a perfect vacation!

Stress release! Our first trip since the Pandemic and the Condo & location was perfect. Brooks & Shorey are always professional to work with. The ease of checking in and out, the cleanliness of the rooms and the view was AWESOME! Destin has gotten so crowded. For us we enjoyed the slow pace.The sunsets closed each day. It was hard to say goodbye 😪

This is one of the best condos on Okaloosa Island. Summerlin itself is very well maintained and because of its size, the beach area out front is not crowded. You're not rubbing shoulders with other guests. And the building is close enough to the beach and water, we were easily able to watch manta rays surf the shallow edge of the water. Condo 502 has modern appliances, granite countertops in the kitchen, and the master bath has a nice walk-in shower. The kitchen-dining area is big enough for a family of six, though it might be a bit cramped if the kids are all big. Overall, this is out favorite condo on Okaloosa Island.

Condo was clean and great location! We love the master bathroom shower. When we were not down at the beach, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. We were able to enjoy the Wednesday night fireworks while sitting there!
The second shower could be improved. Water pressure is high and shower head couldn’t be adjusted. My 10 and 7 year olds said it was painful :) the shower liner is very thin and does not stay in place with the shower on, so they said they also had to hold it while taking a shower so that the water did not go outside of the shower. Not a big deal; all of us just ended up using the master shower.
We stayed here at this same condo last year too and seemed to remember that the second shower was not an issue.
We still enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely want to go back again next year hopefully!

This condo has been rented almost every time we have planned a vacation to Okaloosa Island. Now we know why! Beautiful, clean, updated condo. Owners make sure their guests have everything they need. Small things that make a big difference, like small table placement when going out to balcony, to set dishes and morning coffee on as you close the sliding glass door. Comfortable beds and linens, plug ins on each side of bed for chargers. Well stocked kitchen. We loved the large kitchen island! Numerous touches that made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The view from the balcony is incredible! One small problem with a smoke detector was taken care of within an hour. Brooks and Shorey do an excellent job of taking care of their guests. We will keep this condo at the top of our list!

It was one of our oddest vacations here. the weather was much better than forecast. We had about the best experience ever, but the virus fears clouded our stay with a sense of impending doom. Grocery shopping got harder, bars and restaurants started shutting down, then the beaches were closed. we left a day early, feared some states along the way home might close borders. The condo was fine, had some new appliances. it could have been cleaner, mostly under chairs and tables. furniture was comfortable. views out the balcony doors were unbelievable. We saw a whale and calf swim past! the grounds were well kept. I would recommend Brooks and Shorey for booking your vacation. hope to return in better times.

Summerlin 502 was great for our 2nd year in a row. It has everything my husband and I need for a week enjoying the beach and yummy seafood in the area. Everything was very nice and clean and we enjoy having a door code sent by phone instead of having to check in somewhere when we arrive. The only addition I would hope to have in the future is a comfortable longe chair on the balcony for reading or taking a nap. All the balcony furniture is for sitting only. We enjoyed having breakfast and lunch while enjoying the beautiful beach view.

This is our 2nd stay in Summerlin 502 because we enjoy it so much!! The location and distance to activities and restaurants are phenomenal. The condo is exceptionally finished and clean. My husband is a disabled vet. There are days he is too tired to get to the ocean. however he can sit on the balcony and be right on the ocean that way. We will definitely be renting it again.

  Summerlin 502 is an absolute *Jewel* of a two bedroom Gulf front condo. Okaloosa Island is beautiful but SL 502 is unbeatable. It has amazing owners who keep the upgrades coming and you can always look forward to coming back to this condo and it being as beautiful and homey as it was the previous visit. Even better than the last time we stayed in 502. The owners upgraded all the appliances, so everything worked great.Also, the furniture looked new, likely because it was. Everything was comfortable and clean, relaxation was easy. Same as always the grounds at Summerlin are well kept up. And we like the beach there because it's not as crowded as its neighbors. Finally, Brooks and Shorey folks made it all easy. A fantastic stay.

This is our favorite condo of any where we have stayed on Okaloosa Island. We liked the tile in the bath and shower areas. Great shower heads. The room was very clean as was the building itself. The smaller building size meant more space down on the beach with the free chairs and umbrella. The furniture was comfortable and conducive to good rest. The staff at Brooks and Shorey deserve special compliments for how they handled the approach of Hurricane Michael. Watching the weather near Mobile, we were very close to just going home. But, two different reps called us and said to wait, that it was most likely we could come the day after the storm went through. They were right, and we had a wonderful vacation in Summerlin 502.

Loved the space and the decor; however, it was obvious that the housekeeper did not take a lot of time preparing this unit for our stay. We found items that had been left from previous stays including a houseshoe, and there was hair found in the bathroom and dust found throughout the house. Overall, however, this would not deter us from staying here again. It was a nice unit.

We have stayed in this condo in the past and loved it! This year was very different. The once quiet,beautiful condo complex was over ran with people! There was pot smoking on balcony next door, loud noise all night and unsupervised SMALL children in the pool. I don’t feel like I should have to call law enforcement to deal with this type issue while on vacation. If I enjoyed this atmosphere, I would book my FAMILY vacation, in the middle of spring break in Panama City! I felt that when I expressed this to the management company it was not taken as seriously as I had hoped. It’s a shame that the family atmosphere we had came to love was gone!

  What disappointment to have anything less than perfect ratings on this stunning condo at the Summerlin. When you express your concerns and issues to us on what you're looking for in a condo, we truthfully answer and provide all the info we know about our condos...However, there is nothing that we can do if the crowds get noisy or people get unruly..this is truly out of our hands completely and Summerlin 502 is absolutely one of the best condos on Okaloosa Island and you are not going to find this peace and relaxation in neighboring cities. Here in Fort Walton Beach, we are super kid and family friendly, maybe after a visit to Panama City you'll see that we are the best place for family getaways as we are the least crowded by far. We hope you visit the beautiful Emerald Coast again soon.

This is where you want to be along Santa Rosa BLVD. We had tiled showers, one a walk-in, and both had great shower heads. Granite in the kitchen, modern appliances, giant washer-and-dryer. The beds were comfortable as was the living room furniture. All tile and laminate floors, so no stinky, nasty carpet. Great view from the wide balcony. Upkeep of the grounds was good. Everything was clean and everything worked. The price for the bump-up in quality and luxury was worth it. We will try to get this place when we return to the Gulf Coast. Highly recommend.

We totally enjoyed our time at this very nice condo. The balcony was my favorite place, amazing views. Great chairs and table out there too. This was a wonderful place to stay just beautiful. The condo was very spacious and very Clean. We loved the island In the kitchen. Very easy to get things arranged for cooking. The view was simply amazing. My only drawback was swimming pool. It was very cold. We couldn't enjoy it. My 5 year old couldn't stay in it was so cold. It was a bummer because when the ocean was rough couldn't go to the pool instead. I called to see if it was being heated properly and was told that it came on automatically when temperatures drop below 65 degrees & that it should be working. She said maybe they could send someone to check on it. No one came. But I ssen a maintenance guy & asked him. He let me know that they don't turn on pool heater until January/February.
So...other than being froze in the pool, this place was great!! The pool is the only reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5.

Overall a great stay. The room was clean and beautiful. No problems at all throughout the visit. They only negative was the condo elevator. It consistently smelled like a homeless man was living and urinating in it (although we never found the offender). And the elevator had zero ventilation, which added stuffy heat to the mix, making it even worse. Not sure where the smell was coming from, other than it was trapped in the elevator. Several other guests I talked to complained of the same thing.

  We are so surprised to hear such negative feedback on the elevator on property, there is property management for the property that's responsible for these type items we would have given them a call immediately if you had let us know. Please note next time so we can at least give them a chance to clean it up in there. We're so sorry to see this had such an impact on the rest of the aspects of your vacation as this is one of the absolute very best top-notch units we have to offer and we only wish your stay here had reflected the five star rating this condo deserves. What an amazingly beautiful two bedroom condo right on the Gulf of Mexico and everything new and updated and classy-you couldn't get better if you searched a lifetime! We love this condo, the owners put lots of effort into it and they make sure that everything is ABOVE standards, just to keep everyone happy. Even with all the upgrades as it is, you can be sure there will be something else updated in the condo next time you come-it's a huge perk to renting this condo specifically. The condo is in a great location and very beautiful. Furnishings are great, loved the wood floors. Only problems were no internet connection even tho a password was furnished and no working landline phones. TV remotes may have been mixed up, could not get the back bedroom tv to turn on at all. Condo was clean and had very nice furnishings, looks just like the pictures. Kitchen was also very well equipped. The long granite island is a plus for us because we like to cook. If you can't catch any fish at the pier, go down to Gulf Coast Seafood in town and get some local shrimp and fish and cook your own! The rental agency made everything so easy for us. Everything is done online and they have a very useful app with all the info about your unit and places to go to. I would highly recommond using Brooks and Shorey Resorts.

Waking and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean is a perfect way to reboot. The beach, white powder sands and beautiful surf great for families. The condo was perfect!! There was a large kitchen for gatherings. Washer an dryer in unit was great to wash beach towels daily Only one negative was the oven had an error message not allowing us to use it, but I was not too disappointed I couldn't cook and it needs a new blender, blade would not crush ice. Grounds were very nice, plenty of parking. Traffic in area was not bad considering it was Spring Break. I would recommend this condo for families looking to have a quiet vacation.

Owner takes pride in their beautiful condo. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location is great. This condo is in one of the smaller complexes on Okaloosa Island. This should guarantee that it is one of the lesser crowded locations on the beach. The only negative comment I have is that our guest found the guest bed to be extremely firm and uncomfortable. I realize that is a personal preference but a more padded firm mattress such as on the master bedroom bed would be preferred..

Beautiful place to stay! This condo was very clean, well maintained and felt right at home. Only two negative comments to make - both beds(mattress) were very hard/firm and the condo directly below us was loud a couple of nights and every morning someone would smoke cigars where the smoke would rise to our balcony - this made sitting outside in the morning near impossible.
